- AmyLove These!Love these jeans! They are so comfortable. Have worn them to travel and they are perfect. They are soft. But, hold their shape well. Perfect length and like the snap waist. Fit true to size for me.
- Erma McGuffin, Esq.PERFECT Jeans! As soon as I slipped these on I was in love. My gripe with high cut jeans are the waistlines being too big, which makes me look boxy. These jeans are perfect even before using the little waist cinchers. The fabric is very soft and stretchy. They’re not terribly thick but overall I love the cut, fit, and style. My new favorite pants!
- DawnGreat jeansSuper, super cute! Love them! Great fit, true to size. Very flattering
- Sally PComfy and cute, but wont last like other Levi's jeansSo comfortable! But not built to last like other Levis.
I have tried other styles of wide leg jeans, and the seam always rides up in the worst way. These ones do not do that.
The length is decent enough. I am 5'6 and the standard 31 inch length comes right to the top of my foot. I wouldve gotten the long, but the long sizes are always sold out. Plus the long might've dragged on the ground. If you are my height or taller, consider getting the long if it's available.
They are light weight and much thinner than Levi's 508 (original non-stretch denim.) I do worry these might rip or tear at some point due to the thinness, and they are not at sturdy as levi's 508 options. They also show panty lines becuase of how thin they are.
The thinness makes them very comfortable though. You dont have to "break them in." They did shrink in the dryer a bit as well, as most non-stretch denim does. So be aware of that. That made them a bit shorter unfortunately. But if you dont put them through the dryer, they are super wrinkly and you will need to iron or steam them.
I got them on sale at $56, so they were worth it. But for full-price, I would rather buy Levi's 508 options as I know those will last years. I have a pair of levi 508 straight jeans that I have had for 10 years and they still look and fit great. I dont think these will last very long due to the thinness. But wide-leg styles will eventually fall off trend as it always does, so i guess their ability to last doesnt matter too much. - AmandaComfortable high waisted jeans that are nice and loose through the hips and thighsSo comfortable if you’re a fan of high waisted jeans than aren’t super tight. I’m about 130 lb, 5’6”, and size 26 fit me perfectly. New favorite jeans- I waited forever to order because I have never owned Levi’s and wasn’t sure on size and now I wish I had ordered these years ago.
- KCute on others but not sure I love the style on me.***UPDATED 10/09/25***
I decided to try these again, this time in a smaller SIZE 28 in the same colorway INVESTED INDIGO, and I still can't decide how I feel about them. I'm wearing the gray t-shirt in the new pictures I added of the 28's, and I'm wearing a black shirt in the 29's.
Random note, and I'm not sure if you can tell in the pics, but the wash of this smaller pair looks a tad darker than in the 29's, despite them being the same colorway. They almost look a little more splotchy... Not sure how to describe it. Not sure why but it didn't bother me too much.
The overall fit on this pair is much better - they fit my waist perfectly (I can't really cinch them, but again, I don't have a really dramatic waist/hip ratio), the bagginess in the crotch is gone, and they fit my butt better as well, so that's nice. However, they're still super long and entirely too high waisted on my short torso. I just can't decide if I love the style on me. I think if they sat about 2-3 inches lower on my waist, I would be in love with them, which is a bummer. They're still pretty comfortable (for jeans) because of the soft, thin material and the loose cut. While I was debating keeping them, I was sitting cross-legged to see how bendy I could be in them and was pretty pleased. The thin material probably won't hold up though, and per other reviews on here, they get holes easily, so that's something to factor into my decision.
I ordered the Levi's 318 Shaping Wide-Leg Jeans, which are mid-rise, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed those will be more what I'm looking for. Hopefully they'll sit in a more normal place on my waist.
I'm hanging on to these for now, but only because I got them on sale and I want to be sure I won't wear them (or that I like that other wide-leg pair better) before I return them. We'll see...
***ORIGINAL REVIEW 07/30/25***
For sizing reference, I'm 5'3", currently 145 lbs with measurements about 40"-30"-40" (bust-waist-hip), and I'm wearing size 4-6 in jeans or a medium in bottoms in most brands right now. Another random note but I have a shorter torso with longer legs (proportionally), aka I rarely wear short length in pants and even mid-rise bottoms hit pretty high waisted on me.
I purchased these jeans in a SIZE 29 in the colorway INVESTED INDIGO (pics with the black shirt). Despite everyone recommending sizing down in these, I know how inconsistent Levi’s is so figured I’d err on the side of caution and stick with a 29, so I would have room to cinch the waist.
As far as fit goes, I would agree with what most are saying and size down, especially if they’ll stretch out and/or you have a large waist to hip ratio. Mine isn’t super dramatic, so while I would size down, I probably wouldn’t be able to cinch the waist much. The size 29 did fit me, but they were a little loose in both the waist and the crotch, so I didn’t love the way they looked. I’m still trying to get myself to like looser leg pants again aaaand it’s not going super well, haha. I’m so used to wearing skinny or at least straight leg jeans that wearing anything even vaguely baggy is hard for me. I think it looks sloppy on my body, especially with my shorter height, and anything but a more cropped and fitted top looks odd with them (to me, at least). On top of that, they were pretty long on me, with several inches of extra fabric at the bottom, so I would really have liked a shorter inseam option. I will say that they still look cute on the butt, even if they're loose.
When it comes to the material, these are one of Levi’s softer, thinner denims and I did love the way they felt. They are super comfortable (for jeans) and have that soft, worn denim feel with a bit of stretch. They drape really nicely and were loose everywhere below mid-hip on me. I think I would prefer they be more fitted through the entire hip and then loosen up at the top of the thigh. Maybe in a smaller size they would have done that for me, I’m not sure. I also really love this color! It's the perfect slightly lighter denim shade, without going into super light territory.
For construction, I will say these are really well made, like most Levi’s. The cinch clips on the waist felt secure and all the stitching looked great. They felt worth the money, if you like the style. The pockets are a little bigger than regular women's jeans, so that's nice.
Overall, I would definitely recommend these for someone wanting baggy jeans, just be aware they run a little big and long. - AyidaLove them! One of the cutest jeans I own, fits just right, very flattering if you have curves. Not much stretch, true to size!
- StsteffesGreat jeans for shorter girlsLove these jeans I just wish they are longer. I'm 5'7 with long legs and these jeans are too short. Love the overall fit and the color.
