The "Referee" Test: I purchased these specifically for officiating USAV volleyball matches. There was zero "new shoe" soreness or rubbing.

Unfortunately, they have already started falling apart after 5 months of daily wear. The soles and shell are fine, but the padding at the Achilles tendon has not.

He is 37 and im 30 years old. He immediately thought those are old men shoes and kinda was a little upset I bought them. I told him not to worry because New Balances were back in and to just thank me later. The shoes came in the mail and he put them on he was like " These are not your dads shoes" and I was like yeah I told you. They look good and give off a vibe of chill but not over doing it. He wears a size 14 shoe so sometimes shoes are a bit wonky but these had great support and cushioning. They fit really well. He has back problems and said he feels they are great quality for the price and took tension off his back.

Constructed with real leather and a gel sole insert makes them extremely comfortable and will last a very long time.
- MikeBGreat casual sneakers that feel like $100This is my 4th pair of New Balance shoes over the past 10-12 years, and they all have fit well and been very comfy. NB's size 14 works great for my narrow feet. Not too wide like some other brands. Minor issue is the laces are a little long for my narrow feet, but that's not NB's fault. I'll probably buy some shorter ones for $7. Still a great buy compared to the more trendy brands.
