  • I was initially nervous about renewed but it's perfect
No fancy box, Samsung charger, but perfect iPad.

There were some scratches around the charging port from where people obviously fumbled to find the USB-C port (but literally everyone's going to do that, it's what we get for threading a metal plug into a hole surrounded by metal) and that was it. No scratches on the screen, no corner/edge blur/weird coloration/slow responding screen nothing, it's just a very very gently used like-new iPad pro. Battery's great too, Amazon guarantees 80% of total battery life as though I have a real measure for what that means, what I can tell you in practice is, after about 5 hours of watching Netflix while I'm working at full brightness I need to plug in. When I'm drawing on it after about 3 hours, I haven't even thought about the battery. When I'm goofing off with synths in Garageband for and hour or two, I still haven't thought about the battery. If it's only 80% of the overall life, I would have literally no idea.

What I'm saying is, I'm sure there are duds, I'm sure Amazon would refund them. I didn't get a dud, I got what is essentially a brand new iPad Pro from 2018 that I will be using for the next ~4 years for my design work, watching TV, browsing the internet, and goofing off with synths.

I had a hard time choosing between this and the new iPad Air, and honestly, I don't think either is a bad choice. Overall though, the lesser storage with the more fluid screen mattered to me. I've got a phone with a high refresh rate screen, and it makes everything feel better. Dieter Bohn said in a review of the new iPad Air vs the regular iPad, something like "it's a nicer experience than the regular iPad, and when it comes to devices, whatever feels better to you is what's going to matter over time." and he was right. To me, I'm not working with huge space hungry files so storage isn't a huge concern, and day to day, I will feel better with the faster snappier screen when I'm scrolling through newsfeeds.

Overall, if you're debating whether or not to get a new iPad Air, a new Pro, or this one, and the "Renewed" thing is a factor that's scaring you, for real, do not worry, compare them as though this was also "new"
  • It’s a workable tablet
It’d a nice device to have especially for drawing
  • Super satisfied with purchase!
    Product : 2011 iPad Pro 11-inch, WiFi 64gb Silver

Item arrived a day earlier than expected (via FedEx)! It came in as described in pristine condition, I had ordered the “Renewed” condition. No scratches or dents on front or back.

Updated all software updates and still runs smooth. Touch responsive was not bad for the age of the iPad. Overall, 10/10 satisfied.
  • iPad came defective, DO NOT BUY
So I had purchased a refurbished ipad from this seller about a year ago with the sole purpose of using it for my college classes. I was so excited because I managed to save up the money to upgrade from pen and paper to this beauty. It was working well for the first month and then I noticed it started create lines on the screen out of nowhere and would become unusable for a couple of minutes (keep in mind I’ve never dropped this iPad or even scratched it, I protected this thing with my life). As time went on these little screen freak outs would get worse and last longer than a few minutes but I would put up with it because I would have to pay an absurd amount of money to repair it. Eventually it got to the point where the screen would go completely black and not work again for hours. This video is nothing to compared to now. It’s currently unusable and stuck on this weird line/ black screen forever. I tried talking to the seller and they brushed me off instantly, saying it was no longer their problem. I then contacted Amazon and they just told me to take it up with the seller. I was hesitant to write this review because I’m very supportive of businesses and would never want to shed a bad light, but if anyone is considering buying from these people I wouldn’t recommend. I basically bought a rental iPad and was told it was my problem.
  • Seller unhelpful; defective device, return hassle/UPDATED review 7/23 - better seller!!
UPDATE 7/23: after returning and being refunded for the defective iPad sold by Kanga, I ordered a 64g in silver from Certified Tech. The device arrived via FedEx, securely packaged 3 days earlier than estimated. It came with an appropriate charging cord and wall piece and - surprise! - even an impact resistant Speck case with a cradle for the Apple Pen. This unexpected delight has been very useful and, despite me paying a little more for a 64g than I normally would (I need this for virtual teaching in the fall), it saved me a little in providing a safe casing for it too. The device came charged at 80% so it cut on immediately and was ready to go. I’ve been absolutely in love with my experience since - I feel as though I have a new device! The product itself had a single minute scratch on the side but it otherwise is in great condition and has been working beautifully. I’ll check back after a few weeks with updates.

    ———— previous review, different seller:
The device I received did not charge. I attempted to charge it with the charger sent (a Verizon charger) and a legit iPod charger from a friend. Neither worked over several hours. Set up for the refund while I contacted the seller who, not only closed their email using an entirely different name to address me but insisted they did not sell me the device and I must be mistaken. To be clear, this was sold to me (as verified by Amazon) by Kanga.

As far as the return process, whereas normal amazon returns can be dropped easily at a locker, they required UPS, which is currently operating fewer stores and on more limited hours.
  • Perfect for a cheaper iPad option!
Exactly what I expected! The charge isn’t that great but considering it’s refurbished it does the job!
  • Well worth the price
Incredibly quick delivery, in fantastic condition both visually and in its daily function, the price
Is very much worth it !
