- JohnI have seen the future of music and it is Angine de Poitrine, review IIThis band just took YouTube by storm after appearing on KEXP. Described as "mantra rock, dada, pago, cubist, orchestra, microtonal, cardboard, anti-arena rock" (whatever the hell that means). I just know it's good. I mean really good.
The music is interesting (if you really want interesting check out a video of them playing), almost hypnotic at times.

The guitarist plays a microtone, double-necked axe and uses loops and special effect which he controls with his bare feet. The audio only doesn't reveal their bizarre visage, but the music will enchant you with its microtones, odd time signatures, and intricate song structures that don't lack a grove. This is an anti-AI band, and something new, fun, and talented.
