Great sound quality, easy to connect. Very sleek in size and great appearance. The small size makes placement very versatile. Performs as expected from Kicker. The fact that it has a remote power wire makes it easy to install an amp without running a separate wire to the head unit.

Easy, quick, remote wire bypass worked

This is exactly what I need it to do.
I installed this in the rear trunk of my Honda Accord sport 2014. I connected to the rear left speaker and the rear right speaker by splicing, Use the same ground as my amp, Then the remote to my amp from the kicker product. As soon as I put the keys in the ignition, I saw red light on the product indicating power. I then connected main power to my amplifier and repeated the process. It kicked it on successfully and I’ve been booming ever since. No instructions were needed. I just needed to know the color output on the back of my rear speakers. I looked it up online for the positive negative of each to correspond appropriately with the kicker product. ???? easy p z do it save the money. The sound quality is decent. It’s obviously low voltage.

Used with a uconnect factory stereo system in a Dodge product. First time I've used a line out converter. Easy to install and worked as advertised..especially liked that wire color chart was listed right on the unit.

First I will say this is a cool product. Having done car audio a very long time, newer cars can be a pain to even add a single amp.

I was building a custom sub for my step-son, and decided to give this a shot. After a long build process I got the whole piece in, fired it up, and it worked! Quite happy I was able to avoid the dash.

However, upon turning off the car, and then back on…nothing. No sound from anything, including the main speakers. Scratched my head.

After a lot of troubleshooting, it was determined the car audio worked when started, IF the sub was unhooked. But if it was hooked up the car had no sound.

I ended up bypassing this piece, and ran a 12v turn on. Now it work perfect. Long of the short, depending on your car it may not work reliably. In our case the car had an external DSP/amp as part of the factory (Subaru HK) and it did NOT like seeing the 12v offset this uses. Therefore protecting itself.

Just figured I would try and help anyone else who might run into this. Likely 90%+ vehicles are fine with it, we just got unlucky.

Used this in my Dodge challenger to add amp and subwoofer in the trunk. Easily jumped the wiring to the rear shelf speakers and somehow it turns on the amp when radio is turned on! Works great

Mine was defective but no issues getting a refund. I'm sure they are not all that way. The quality seemed durable amd good. Could have been my incoherent installer too.
