Excellent taste with no extraneous ingredients to preserve color or flavor! Very tender and sweet, the taste is the best I’ve ever had. The color is a bit darker, but who said dried apricots need to be bright orange? Great all natural product. I have reordered already.

I used to buy unsulfured apricots at Trader Joes for years, however, as they often do, they dropped the sulfured version and I won't eat apricots that are processed with sulfur because adding sulfur dioxide to prevent discoloration is not necessary and can be dangerous to someone who might be sensitive to it.

I am thrilled to have taken a chance on these only to find that they are PERFECT! Soft, flavorful, and healthier. I highly recommend this brand. They will be my go-to snack and recipe favorite for as long as they are available.

The apricots are very good.
Some of the descriptions of what goes into each option are either slightly or grossly inaccurate, and so is the resulting price per oz or per pound.
The 2.2 lb option is actually only 2 lbs.
The descriptions of the 52.8 oz and 26.4 oz options are reversed - so who knows whether you are getting what you selected. Presuming the 26.4 oz option is truly just 26.4 oz, it is $20 per pound - not $10/pound.

I love Sunny Fruit!! I usually buy their Turkish figs & got the apricots as a gift. They're both, by FAR, the best of the best. They're gently dried, aka lots of mushy wonderment, no sulfates or other additives. No sulfur also means they look like presents from Bambi but taste amazing! This bag is HUGE too. If you're into dried apircots, and don't mind mushy textures, these will put their orange counterparts to shame!

Other brands' apricots are a mixed bag - literally - in terms of softness with some pieces perfectly chewy and others leather-tough. These Sunny Fruits ones, thus far, are all wonderfully soft with some bordering on mushy and overripe. They absolutely are great in that regard.

The ingredients on the bag list apricots and water, the latter not something I usually see in the ingredients of dried fruit. Given the mushy-ness of some pieces I wonder if Sunny Fruits achieves their texture by soaking the fruit in water, which might explain the mushy ones.

However as compared to others brands the flavor of these apricots is weak. They are by no means bland in an objective sense but in comparison to other brands they certainly are. You don't get that wonderfully honeyed sweetness you've come to love from organic dried apricots.

Overall I won't buy this brand again. I don't mind risking some harder or less-moist pieces of fruit in exchange for better flavor.
