I can not express how happy I am with these! I have a mouse problem and have tried everything nothing worked much the mice are tricky and chew their way out of other traps. I even have a professional mouser cat and they are good at evading him too, he catches a couple but most are able to avoid him. Let me say I know these arnt human but if you have a mouse problem it's you against them being a parasite to your home. I set these down and put a small piece of bread and cheddar in the middle of each one, within 20 mins I had my 1st mouse! Got rid of the house put the trap back down 3 mins later another one was on it romved the 2nd mouse 10 mins later my 3rd fell onto it! I am so happy these are working and my cats are jealous of me now lol

our best mousers passed and we noticed mice getting into the house more. I spent 2-3 weeks deep cleaning rooms where i found so much mouse poop and bleaching and throwing away a couple hundred dollars with of stuff. We tried the snap traps but they ate the bait. These suckers can make you sick and carry lyme in our area, so they had to go I just hated using glue traps as I don't want the poor critter to suffer. We laid them out minutes after the package came and in a few hours we heard screaming and we caught the big mouse. I really recommend not letting them die in that trap that's too much suffering. My husband ended up taking his knife and severing the spinal chord to put a quick end. Will buy again we've been after this mouse forever!

My new home had a lot of spiders in the basement even though it was sprayed professionally a couple of times. When I found a brown recluse that was the last straw. The flat black glue traps works best for spiders and this is the brand. I placed a bunch in different corners of the basement and near a crack and couldn't believe how many spiders I caught. Haven't seen any new spiders after having the traps out for a few months.

4.0 out of 5 stars Don't use Peanut Butter on these glue traps!

I am 89 years old and I live in a very well built home but once people leave the doors open and let mice into your home it's very hard to get rid of them. I have set all kinds of snap traps, electronic traps and finally the Tomcat Glue trap! The Glue trap is great but probably too small. I was catching mice very well until I tried putting a very tiny dab of Peanut Butter in the very middle and they go right to that Peanut Butter and stop to eat it, get Peanut Butter all over their mouth and whiskers, and don't get all of their feet into the glue! Then they run off with the trap and work themselves out of it because the oil in the Peanut Butter HELPS them get away! You will have much better luck NOT USING even a teeny smidgen of Peanut Butter! A medium size or large mouse will take off with these small traps and you have NO IDEA where they will end up! You end up moving furniture, looking inside closets in the room or where ever! I love that they catch mice but I wish they were larger so they could Not RUN off with them. Because they very often do! That's my only gripe. I am 89 and have a problem moving the whole room around searching to find the mouse and the glue trap!

I found indications of a mouse in the kitchen. Grabbed the glue traps from the garage attack that had been in 100 degree temps all last summer. Still worked when placed in kitchen. Might be unnerving for some people to have to deal with the live mouse afterwards. If you want to release them away from the house, use a 5 gallon bucket with warm water. The mouse becomes unglued, tip over the bucket and they run off.

3.0 out of 5 stars We had an good ratio amount of small rats caught with these traps... big ones escape!

So.... embarrassing enough we found out we have rats due to my neighbor demolitioning his home causing the rats from his home to relocate to our home (frustration at its finest)... I had originally bought 2 and after catching one medium size 4” rat the first night so I came back to amazon and bought 5 more sets!!
At this point I’ve set up all 12 of them.... here is my take on this brand rat trap!
First of all..... this trap will work depending on the size of your rats. Small baby size yes it will catch no problem. I’d say up to 3.5-4” rats cannot come off.... but there was one night we heard a Big Bang and Ran to investigate and much to our surprise there was a 5-6” rat on the trap we thought for sure we got it. As we were scrambling to get a trash bag and stick to push it in.... the rat went into survival mode and literally pulled itself off the trap by using its front teeth to grab onto a nearby rod from the bird cage... it pulled and wiggled then it was gone!! We were so mad!!!!!! And frustrated!!!
We then decided to put traps side by side in hopes it will not get away the next time!!
Nope each night we found that the rat was getting off.... sometimes taking the trap with it and we would have to do on a hunt to look for it!! All that was left was rat furr!! These are not big enough for adult rats. In my opinion!! In total we caught 6 small size rats so it’s a 50/50 experience with us.
But... I will say this.... these rat traps are 5xs stronger than the ones in Walmart... the ones in Walmart are not even strong enough for baby size rats!! So avoid those.
I would say if you have only mice then this would be more than enough adhesive strength. If you have rats that are bigger than 4” go with snapper traps or call an exterminator!! We went with the exterminator option!!! He did check out these sticky traps and said it’s very gooey and good but he wouldn’t recommend for Rat adults cause they don’t give up! Unless you see it happen there is a chance they will get off if you’re not quick enough!! We learned that the hard way!! My small dog also learned the hard way by getting stuck to one of them after we told her to stay away.... it took lots of baby oil to get the residue of her long hair, we even had to shave her as a result lol... her fault!
Anyway I still would say these are good cause I do know they work but like I said it works for smaller size rats.... I don’t have the stomach to handle the snapper traps which is why I chose these sticky ones.... but in the end called an exterminator who treated our home and so far so good... we have not caught any rats or found any missing traps which is a good sign!!
So please Keep in mind.... if you have large rats these MAY not work... although you may be faster then us and actually get them before they escape
Hope this was helpful

In Southwest Florida, we have all kinds of bugs. I got these specifically for palmetto bugs, but is basically a giant flying roach as far as I am concerned. I still haven't figured out how they get in the house, but they do. I used to see them once a month or so in the house, and of course they met their untimely demise when that happens.
I put these in various parts of the house, and they work. I've caught various spiders, and of course Palmetto bugs, some which I obviously would otherwise never see. It's been a few months since I've seen a bug, other than on the traps that are under (not in) the counters. Buy these, they work.
