it went together pretty easy and it was square, it makes it real nice to mark around your whole board or just side to side..........glad I bought it, it comes in very handy....

I bought this for my job since 90% of my job is marking up and drilling holes and also scribing lines to fab/assemble frames to be welded. light weight and very accurate. if you are too strong you will push, the ruler very slightly and line will be curved. try to avoid dropping. can easily be file down even after a few drops. Still very accurate and reliable.

The square was much smaller then expected. Not sure what it's intended use is, angles are fixed so not very much options. But i will keep it around.

This device is very inexpensive. It doesn't have a "positive stop" that perfectly aligns the two "sides." Moreover, one of the two pieces isn't vaguely flat.

For a woodworker wanting to simply and easily trace lines around a board, it's fine. OTOH, this isn't even vaguely suitable for a machinist (someone that needs precision).

Given the low cost... meh, I'll live with it rather than return it. Do yourself a favor and spend more for a higher-quality product.
