5.0 out of 5 stars Best tool at a fraction of the price

I've purchase many tools from the Amazon renew store. I personally like makita drive about 3000 screws A-day with mine. I saw this on friday and received it sunday! I know many impact drivers and drills and switch daily so not to wear them out. This one had several features I don't have on other ones that will make my job even easier and the power is absolutely incredible. Just for the heck of it I tried it on my lug nuts on my car and it took him off without any problem whatsoever. At work my 4.0 battery's charge 60 % Faster than any other competition In makita has never let me down! If you want a really great deal on your power tools look at Amazon renew program, It is under the section that says buy used. I can't say enough good things about the Amazon or my makita power tools, If you want the Best Buy makita.

5.0 out of 5 stars This thing is amazing

Makita apparently made a new one that is slightly smaller and barely more power, however this is perfect and almost nobody would know the difference. I love this thing. Use it for all sorts of building / auto mechanic work / fabrication / woodscrews, etc. Love all the features. Super amazing quality that keeps me coming back to Makita.

5.0 out of 5 stars Indispensable DIY tool to own

I know Makita make excellent tools so I go with this brand even though it can be quite expensive. Though it is a re-newed product I don't have a single problem after a year of occasional use on small DIY projects. It does what it's supposed to do and saved me the trouble of manually turning screws into wood and MDF. Got a genuine 3Ah battery, after 1 full charge could last for months on occasional use.. Contemplating getting a brushless 18V cordless drill also.

It’s an older model. If that doesn’t bother you, it’s a great value. Works well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Compact, light and very capable.

Very nice tool. Light, compact, and lots of torque. I had the torque setting a little high and sheared #10 sheet metal screw so experiment to keep from doing that. No fault of the tool! Figuring out which batteries are compatible was an issue but it works withy older LXT batteries.

5.0 out of 5 stars This little guy is a beast. Conor McGregor in a compact impact driver.

OK I am pretty much a Makita 18V LXT fan boy. I have a bunch of stuff in the 18V LXT line up. Had some older 12V Makita drill/driver and impact driver that were fine, but wanted a bit more power for out in my workshop. The 12v system comes inside and this now mates up with my Makita 18v LXT drill/driver/hammer drill & all those batteries I have managed to acquire. Have batteries/chargers so bare tool a great deal for the power this thing puts out. WOW.

I love this LXT system.
