I have a couple different large Lego set projects going on, so needed another set of drawers like these to sort the pieces. I have two sets by Akro-Mills, but I thought I'd like to try these by Iris USA. My last set of Akro-Mills drawers were ok, but there were a lot of imperfections on the top of the drawers which could sometimes make them rough to pull out. Also, they had these silly little divider slats that I have actually got a very small Lego peg stuck in, and impacted how I could fit pieces in the drawer.
These Iris USA drawers have none of these problems. They are a nice, smooth plastic that's pleasant to the touch, with handles/grips I like better than the Akro-Mills ones. The drawers slide open easily but do not fall out. There's no divider slats, so it's easier to lay long pieces down inside. The drawers curve inward at the back a bit, which I was a little concerned about, but it turned out to be a non-issue. I love these drawers and honestly wish I'd gone with Iris USA from the beginning. Akro-Mills drawers aren't bad exactly, it's mostly a personal preference for the make, style, and build quality found in the Iris drawers. Plus, they're a lovely white which is much nicer to look at when they're out for long stretches. Obviously, I would buy again.
