I absolutely love this products by Loma Linda. They're so easy to warm up. Decent value. They also taste great. However, both of these meals are quite spicy, so if you can't handle heat, they're not for you. Sometimes, I eat these with some unsweetened plain yogurt too cool down the heat level. They're also reasonably filling and good quality.

I love how this meal is healthy and easily made! No worries of needing a refrigerator (or even a microwave, but would definitely recommend microwaving it).

I always carry a few of these in my pantry and always carry one of these in my backpack, if I’m ever running a bit late to work or am just tired to make some food, this is always a good option for me. It’s generally healthy and is very filling.

The tofu surprisingly doesn’t taste like tofu (I always thought tofu was nasty, this changed my mind). The tofu texture feels like I’m eating chicken, but although it doesn’t taste like chicken it somewhat resembles a meat. Kind of hard to describe but it’s unique and good.

This meal is also pretty spicy, 1-10, I’d say a 5/6 so if you’re really REALLY off put my hot food this may be a no go. If you do like spicy food this is delicious! I can really feel and taste the corn, rice, beans, chipotle, etc.

I’m a lifelong customer of this bag, I wish this company had more flavor options to venture into.

I love this brand of plant base food for it flavor profiles. You can fool most meat eaters with this brand. Let me be frank, besides the wonderful taste the quick and easiness to have a lunch or diner on the table when time is not on your side is great, but the best thing about it is that it is much more healthy than the fast food on the way home and most of the time these days it is faster and cheaper than the drive through. It is a very good buy for the money it has about five servings to a bag. Test it out on the family and you will be surprised at how much they like it. Don't tell them it is plant base and see the reaction you from them when you do after they have enjoyed the meal. It is great!

These are convenient because they don’t take long to heat in the microwave or boiling water, right in their own packet. But you need to know that these are very spicy hot, even for someone who adds Tabasco sauce to practically everything. These made my eyes water and cleared my sinuses that I didn’t realized were blocked! If you enjoy very spicy foods, you will like these. If you need to tone them down a bit, adding some extra plain brown rice will dilute the heat. If you aren’t vegan, adding a scoop of plain unflavored yogurt not only neutralizes the heat, but adds a very nice flavor. These do have nice texture and flavor.

These would be great for camping or just to have on hand when you don’t feel like cooking. If I empty the whole packet into a bowl and put it in my microwave for 2 minutes it comes out perfectly. Can’t beat that for convenience or just plain pandemic laziness.

You also should know that the packet is 10 ounces but the nutritional label says it’s 2 servings. This is definitely one serving for me, even with the added scoop of yogurt.

Life long vegetarian and Loma Linda eater here. I can see why people are saying this is too spicy. But I LOVE spicy food, so this rocks my world. For those of you curious about the spice level, I would compare it to just a notch under biting into a pickled jalapeño. As for the people complaining about the "flavor", it tastes like a tradition Mexican mole so think a smokey, wood-charred flavor. Did you think "Chipotle" was referring to the restaurant chain? I LOVE the meatless chunks- it makes it very filling. And the beans are cooked perfectly- not too firm, not too soft. I recommend adding sour cream or serving it over rice if it's too spicy. Also, the Nutrition facts say that 1/2 a bag is a serving, so serving it over rice would also make easy to stretch for two meals if you're calorie counting. It packs a lot of punch for 260 calories. Highly recommend!

The flavor is quite strong but unfortunately it's not a great flavor. I tried mixing these with rice, and adding them to soup, but no degree of "weakening" the flavor turns the flavor into anyting particularly edible. I did like the texture of the fake meat, though my partner didn't. I bought a case so I've quite a few of these to go and maybe yet will find some way to use them that they taste better. It was worth the try though, I just shouldn't've bought so many at once.

I was eating these for lunch almost everyday. They are very, very feeling and pretty low calorie for the amount of food you get. Lots of flavor but if you don't like spicy then it's probably not for you. It does bring a fair amount of heat. Hit it with a little sour cream and it's amazing!

I had just used my last pouch of this product. I was so excited when I found it available at Amazon.com . Such easy preparation (one minute in the microwave!), delicious flavor, and so versatile. I have eaten it as is, added shredded cheese, made nachos, burritos, or tacos with it. Don't be deceived by the size of this pouch, as there is a lot of protein in there.
