It has been authorized only for the detection of proteins from SARS-CoV-2, not for any other viruses or pathogens, and is only authorized for the duration of the declaration that circumstances exist justifying the authorization of emergency use of in vitro diagnostics for detection and/or diagnosis of COVID-19 under Section 564(b) (1) of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, 21 U.S.C. § 360bbb-3(b)(1), unless the declaration is terminated, or authorization is revoked sooner.

These are my go to tests for Covid

I’ve had Covid twice now. This second time I tested with an expired Binax Now test I had that was 6mos past expiration date. I was pretty sure I had Covid. It gave me a positive test result. I bought a new test kit of this brand and took a fresh test which confirmed a positive result. These tests are easy to take and VERY reliable. Clear instructions and if you follow them exactly you can get a reliable outcome. Sometimes early in COVID infection, even though you have symptoms, you may not have developed a large enough viral load to test positive. Wait another day and take the second test if you still feel sick.
Remember, we’re dealing with RSV as well as Respiratory flu and Covid now. All of these have similar symptoms.

The Covid-19 test I just received has expiration date 2024-12-27. It was my big concern when ordering.

I like this brand easy to use. The only thing I don’t like is that it is difficult to get the solution in the hole even if you center the dropper directly over the hole somehow it manages to fall outside of the hole fortunately there is extra solution so that I am able to get 6 drops in the hole. One star off because of this.
