Great value for the price.

Setup out the box was pretty easy. Might take some time. Connect the bulb to the bulb socket plug it comes with. Download the app. Create account. Scan QR code, connect to Internet and viola.

Quality is pretty good for the price. You can zoom in and out, Move the camera eye by moving the screen with a pinch in and pinch out or slide in the direction you want slowly. It'll have a bit of a lag. If it freezes, restart the app.

It is very noticeable. The motion sensor follows the person it detects. The light is pretty bright. Since it is always plugged into socket, there will always be power unless your power goes out but that's the same with battery operated and wires cameras. When you have motion sensing on, it records the movement and you can play it back later.

Overall 5/5 for price and quality.

I recently purchased the Hugolog 3K Light Bulb Security Cameras, and I am thoroughly impressed! The installation was a breeze, and I love how effortlessly they integrated with my existing outdoor lights thanks to the included extension. The footage quality is exceptionally clear, and the interactive features make monitoring simple and intuitive. The AI technology is spot on, accurately distinguishing between pets and humans, which is a game-changer for home security. I recently installed the Hugolog Security Camera in my home, and I cannot express enough how impressed and grateful I am for this incredible device. The peace of mind it has brought me is beyond measure, and I firmly believe that it has potentially saved my life.

Firstly, the installation process was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and within minutes, I had the camera set up and connected to my Wi-Fi network. The app interface is user-friendly, allowing me to monitor my home in real-time from anywhere. The high-definition video quality is exceptional, providing crystal-clear images both during the day and night, thanks to its advanced night vision capabilities.

But the true test of this camera’s effectiveness came during a recent attempted break-in at my home. Late one night, I was alerted by the app of unusual activity near my front door. I quickly accessed the live feed and was able to see a suspicious individual trying to force their way in. The clarity of the video allowed me to identify details that I relayed to the authorities.

What truly sets the Hugolog Security Camera apart is its built-in siren feature. As soon as I noticed the intruder, I activated the siren through the app. The loud, piercing sound immediately startled the intruder, causing them to flee the scene. The siren’s effectiveness in deterring the break-in was nothing short of remarkable. Received the camera, it easy to set up, 5GHz is much better here than 2.4. The picture is very sharp and good. However, the camera audio was basically silent until a loud sound, then it was choppy. I called Shaun at customer service, and his is sending a new camera at no charge. He said there might be a problem with the firmware. I hope the new one works well.

I have purchased 4 Hugolog cameras - 3 Light Bulb and 1 other variety. The mobile app is excellent in design and response -- there are inexpensive options for cloud storage or non-subscription microSD storage of footage. The main attraction to the light bulb cameras are the easy installation to existing 'porch light' areas. Often, the existing fixture can have its current housing removed in favor of the camera that replaces the 'light' function of the previous bulb that was in place (see photos). The fact that a pan/tilt/zoom camera can be put in place of a static porch light at ~$20-25 is incredible! I tried a few 3rd party apps to access the ONVIF / RTSP capabilites of this camera. The NX-V app (https://incax.com/apps) autodetected the cameras (local IP) and allowed me to view the feeds. Just be sure to assign a password to the ONVIF option for the cameras and use 'admin' as the username in the NX-V app. Hugolog Customer support was very helpful and willing to help after the sale, as well.

This item was just what I needed. Easy to set up. Easy to configure. And the price was great. It also works with Alexa and is super easy to use. I saw it advertised for more money elsewhere but Amazon was the best price. Delivered the next day. You can also set it up to turn the light on and off at specific times. Will probably buy another one soon.
