    Great for a fire starter. I have never had an issue with getting a fire going when I use these. I hate when people use gasoline and this works twice as well.

    They light up easily, even in wet conditions, and burn hot enough to get the coals going quickly. There’s no smell or smoke, and they last long enough to do the job every time. They’re compact and convenient, and I appreciate having a reliable, mess-free way to get my grill started. Highly recommend for any charcoal grilling setup.

    I use an electric arc lighter most of the time, and man do these light easier than paper, cardboard, etc. Those arc lighters have (expensive) starters you can buy, but these are cheaper and better.

    One small square is enough to easily light fatwood starters - which can take minutes to catch with a lighter - even a butane lighter.
