I like the heavy base to help keep it upright. Works well for a cone of thread with my Bernina that doesn’t have a built in cone holder.

I didn’t even know these existed but I’m so glad I found this item. I inherited a bunch of the cone threads and they don’t exactly fit on a regular sewing machine but this solved the problem. Nice heavy base that keeps the thread exactly where you want it. The cone thread unwinds perfectly on this stand. Would definitely recommend it.

Really sturdy for heavier projects - I was making a 45 x 45 baby blanket, creating faux chenille - stiched 100+ channels and this evened-out the feed of thread - also stood it out of my way so I could control the fabric and concentrate. Really helpful, recommend without reservation.

This thread stand is perfect for being able to hold large cones of thread which helps when you do production sewing. My only gripe is that the bottom base of the stand is textured so it may damage the surface of whatever you sit it on. I have some IKEA tables that I knew would easily get scratched by this so I bought felt pads and cut them to size in order to adhere them to the base (which is uneven). Now it has a smooth bottom but I wish I did not have to take the extra step in having to do this. Otherwise, great product!

Heavy duty all metal, nice product. The large bar that has the screw pressed against it is a little wobbly but its not really an issue since the strand of thread is the only thing touching it. Im happy with my purchase!! Would buy it again

I’m so glad I bought this, I didn’t realize the last thread I bought was a large cone and of course it wouldn’t fit on my sewing machine so I bought this little contraption! And it works perfectly, it’s weighted so it doesn’t even move much less have to worry about it falling over now I’ll save some money being able to buy the large cones of thread

Just started quilting and the thread I got is a polyester mix and snapped easily when it was on the machine. When I got this one and used it, no more snapping! It works great, it's sturdy and easy to put together
