I would have never bought this if I saw it in stores. I can guarantee I would've thought it was too expensive and purchased something cheaper. Lucky for me, our neighborhood has food donation bins for dry items and refrigerated items, and people are always dumping vegan and vegetarian food in there. I picked this up, wondering what it tasted like. By someone dumping the entire bag of breakfast sausage, I figured it couldn't be that great. To my absolute delight, I LOVED IT! I enjoyed it so much that I'm now willing to pay for these expensive bags to taste the other versions. The all-purpose meat crumbles is as good as the breakfast one. I'm going to enjoy testing out all of these! They're great to add in vegan burritos and rotini pasta. Yum!

My family and I love this product! First of all, the texture is a dead ringer for ground beef. It is not tough like some of the frozen ones out there. In terms of taste, it is a blank slate for sloppy Joe seasoning, taco seasoning, spaghetti sauce, chili, etc. There is no spice or flavor strong enough to disrupt or take over your recipe. It is clean (organic, not just non-gmo), unlike all the mainstream meat substitutes. There's no ingredients I don't know or can't pronounce. I feel like I'm eating real food, not something derived in a lab. Finally, it is EASY! I was worried when I bought it that I would mess it up and the texture would be off, but it is so simple to make. It is an excellent, affordable sauce of plant protein. (Although the package looks tiny, the 3 oz package makes a surprising amount of meat and is a good value.) The taco one is great, too, although I still add extra taco seasoning. I cannot say enough good things about this product! It is my new go-to meat substitute for sure! Keep making awesome products, Plant Boss!!

The texture of these is overly chewy, as long as you hide it in chili or lasagna, it's okay, but not good to eat on its own. I appreciate a non-soy option to add protein to meals, but I won't be ordering this type of product again.

These crumbles are a great way to incorporate plant based foods into your diet. Very easy to prepare. Texture is good but the taco flavored crumbles are much better tasting.
