This little gem is a perfect coffee pot. The coffee is hot..the process is quick and its the right size (4 cups) for one or two. Its also easy to clean and looks good on the counter. If you like percolated coffee quickly this is the gem for you...

I have now given away my electric coffee maker and keurig. This is a wonderful coffee pot. It is sustainable. Coffee tastes delicious - I mean really, the same brand in this tastes better! It’s hot too! The pot defaults to warm once brewed. It doesn’t have an auto shut off, so remember to unplug it. It doesn’t leak. The material is durable. Easy to clean. Great looking and great value. I love it.

I have seen reviews posted here talking about how hard this is to clean, and how it doesn't make good coffee. I have NO idea what these people are talking about. I have had several Farberware percolators. My previous pots were the 4 cup versions. The first two burned out within a year each. My third one I still have after three years, and works great. The only reason I purchased this one, the handle mount rusted out, and the handle fell off, but it still makes GREAT coffee! This pot is no different, makes awesome coffee, smells great while doing so, and I look forward to making coffee every morning! They have changed the handle mount design, so the mount rusting out, SHOULDN'T be a problem again. Only time will tell. My only suggestion, you keep this pot clean, wash it after every use, and DO NOT SUBMERSE the entire pot it in water! In answer to one poster here, let the pot cool before you try to clean it, I know, it SHOULD be obvious, but hey, they posted it, not me... Enjoy the amazing coffee this pot will make folks!

This is my third time buying this percolator. While the coffee is great and it’s easy to use, it only lasts for 2 yrs. After the two year mark the coffee does not taste good and then one day ,when you plug it in, it will not work.

This is the best little coffee pot I’ve had since I stopped using a stovetop percolator years ago. Easy to use & easy to clean & it makes a good cup of coffee. The only complaint is that this pot is pot #2 because one morning pot #1 just stopped working! However, I had no qualms about replacing it with the same product. Pot #1 was approximately 2 years old so I felt it served me well as it is used every single day.

You can hear it working as soon as you plug it in. Rapid boiling of water in less than 3 minutes. Boiling and brewing continues for about 4+ minutes, than switches to warming cycle, then the boiling stops. While the thing is boiling, there is no question it is working - you can hear the boiling water sloshing around as it brews. This thing does not need a glass view cap - you just know it's working. Since the brew cycle is a set time, I just add more or less coffee to the basket to vary the strength of the coffee. The basket is deep, and would hold a lot of coffee to make stronger batches. Great for making ice coffee - you can leave it alone and come back later and unplug it to let the coffee cool down. The spout at the top makes straining off the cooled coffee easier - the grounds stay on the bottom. The top spout is fully accessible for easier cleaning.

Purchased this 4-cup percolator after visiting a friend that has the 12-cup version. Having never used a percolator, I was hesitant but online video instructions were simple. The coffee pot comes apart easily and the stainless steel parts are easy to clean and reassemble for the next pot of coffee. The coffee was done in 6 minutes and came out perfectly! Virtually no grounds in the bottom of the pot without a paper filter...the key is to run water through the basket before adding coffee. Great purchase!

I always had coffee pots, like Mr. Coffee. Years ago my mother had the stainless steal brands. I remembered how you always had HOT cup of coffee from them. I missed that. I never really got coffee hot enough from the modern coffee pots. This gives you a hot cup of coffee from the first to the last. Perfect!! I’ve had it several years now and it is still going strong.
