It ain't AutoCad

Says it is AutoCad compatible - I didn't find that to be the case when Microsoft and AutoDesk teamed up to take away my "lifetime" license so they could sell me a subscription. This software could replace AutoCad, but, in my opinion, doesn't work too well as an adjunct or reader of DWG files.

Product cover case states "full compatibility with AutoCAD." It is not. You cannot save a drawing file in the .dwg format of AutoCAD. This program is German and more suitable for European use. There are more metric options than imperial ones. You can set your language when you first install the program, but many submenus are in German. There is no online support for the program, even though there is a link to the German website for sales. There is very little similarity with AutoCAD functions or even other free CAD programs. If you need a simple 2D CAD program, try something else if you live in the U.S.

The downloading interface is not recognized by Windows. The interface is somewhat faulty, perhaps due to its German language base.

Quilts for Fun

NO SUPPORT!

Personal use to lay out quilting designs. My computer dumped, had to reload. No longer have the package/serial no. to reactive the program after loading the CD. I called Amazon, Called Becker who no longer has anything to do with CD's. I wanted a simple graphics program to lay out simple designs. Total waste as I cannot use with out the serial no.

Not just like AutoCad

Extremely misidentified as completely compatible with Autodesk AutoAcad. All menus, screens and commands are unique to this software. Unless you are willing to many hours going through the help section, don't waste your money.
