This turbo yeast saves money over using DADY

My wash was bubbling like gangbusters in 6 hours. I let it go for almost two weeks to see what it would do. The results were very good. I hesitated using this turbo yeast because of the cost, but I shouldn't have. The ABV of the wash was 17.2%. The most I've gotten from DADY is 12%. This means that I am saving money with this turbo yeast by using less sugar to get the same results.

Very quick fermenting, the end product doesn't taste amazing (because it's turbo yeast), but it does its job flawlessly

Good for moonshine not for beer

I use this to make beer because my original yeast was dead. This yeast was very active, but there are so many other ingredients that I would never recommend it for baking beer. It’s probably fine if you’re going to distill your alcohol afterwards, but the beer had a bit of a nasty aftertaste. So I can’t knock the product. Just don’t use it for beer.

The Only Yeast for High Gravity Wash

I've used this yeast several times and always had excellent results. Wash usually ferments out in about 48-72 hours instead of the two weeks it would normally take with other "conventional yeast". Highly recommend!

Tried to make a starter in a mason jar and within 3 seconds it was a giant mushroom shaped ball of foam. Initially that made me concerned about the antifoam listed in the ingredients, but when added directly to the fermenter there was minimal foam. Can't comment on the finished product yet since I'm only an hour into the fermentation, but I have never seen a starter instantly react so aggressively. Seems like it'll do exactly what it's meant to do.

Edit: don't drink it while it's still fermenting. It won't end well.

Due to Covid19 my regular retailer shut down so I ordered from amazon. The product is OK if you can keep the fermenting temp up, It was always kind of iffy Couldn't order anymore so found something else. Do recommend the oak chips.
