    The umbrella opens and folds easy enough, protects 2 ppl if needed, so id say it works well. Sturdy and lightweight! Def. Wish the colors were as bold as the amazon photo but its still very prtty and works well enough. Def A Value for the money.

    The only thing I "Liked" about these were the color, one of the reasons I purchased them, but really sorry I did. I have more dislikes on these than likes, and the dislikes will be explained in detail below.

    Dislikes: Wife used hers for the first time on 7/6/2023 when we had a hard rain, it was difficult to get open and would not lock in place, it kept popping out of the lock position and closing. Not only that, one of the ribs came out of the small plastic piece that holds the rib in place, she and I both tried to reinsert it, but to no avail, as soon as you'd try to open it, it would come right back out of the plastic piece that is supposed to hold it in place.

    If she, or I, managed to get it back into the piece that holds it, a light wind would just have it pop right back out again, even just closing it down would have this one rib give way every time, so that part of the umbrella would not stay upright or stiff.

    These umbrellas are extremely hard to open, they are extremely hard to get into the locked position, and if you do manage to get them locked, they don't stay that way, the locking mechanism seems to always unlatch, and allow the umbrella to close down on you, getting you soaked in the process.
    And yes, everything about my wife's experience with her umbrella also relates to mine, same exact umbrella, only difference being none of the ribs on mine have broken loose (yet), but everything stated is the same.

    So, nope, can't recommend this umbrella to anyone, spend a bit more money, get a larger, better quality umbrella.

    With these, you're getting cheap China made junk that will end up in the rubbish bin much sooner than it should.

    Don't waste your time with these umbrellas, I have had similar umbrella's that were purchased at the $1.25¢ store outlast these by many years that were given to us by friends. I had figured these would have been of a higher quality than those $1.25¢, and bought these since those had finally worn out after over 5+ years of use, but these, didn't even hold up to a first use before numerous issues showed up. Will never buy these again.

    It's an umbrella! It will fit in the larger sizes of purses or a messenger bag pretty easily when folded up, and it keeps the rain off with a reasonably sized canopy. Positive things to say about it end there, though. The design on the inside is barely visible, more like a faded impression than the bold colors pictures in the item's image, and it is cheaply made enough that the carry strap, which was small to begin with, broke off less than ten minutes after opening it up the first time. I feel like I will be lucky to have it last a season.
