5.0 out of 5 stars Quick and convenient

I manage a training team and we use these to generate new barcodes for people badges. Their employee badge prints with a barcode on it when they are hired but as the years go on that code starts to wear off. We use these to reprint the barcodes for those employees so they can scan in and out of training classes and to use on their time clocks, or clocking in and out of their work orders. They're really great and convenient little printers. Wish they had a color option but no thermal label printer that I know of has that but they do everything we need them to do and we can do all of it from our phones which is really nice.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ready to use and the most user friendly app!

I love gadgets and tech stuff! I started out with the Phomemo D30 and was hooked. It was hands down better than my Brother P Touch and the labels are much more affordable.
I was so hooked I found myself wanting to label everything, but the D30 labels are small. So I bought a device that looks exactly like another model of Phomemo for half the price. I found the app to be lacking the rich icons, variety of frames and fonts and it was a bit clumsy to navigate.
Yet again, I found another brand of thermal label printer, this one capable of printing labels up to the inches wide and again half the price. Yet again I fell for it and was disappointed.
The bottom line is I'll never stay from Phomemo again. It's app is very easy to navigate and contains the largest variety of images, frames and templates. Each label prints clear with the correct amount of black saturation. The Phomemo brand of labels are also superior to others I've purchased.
Yes, I just received my 220M today but the kid in me went to work creating several fun labels for the heck of it.
Thank you Phomemo for bringing out my inner geek and delivering a great product with an app to match!

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy and Cute

I was able to get this set up in 5 minutes and created a few designs, printed some of their generic sticker designs, and also printed a few pictures of my cats. I am really happy with the quality and ease of use. I love that it comes with multiple sizes. As a teacher, this will come in very handy to make labels next school year.

The app that you use to design on the computer was also fairly easy to install and use. I had no problems with it. I was able to make a design on Canva and upload it to the Labelife app to then print on the label maker.

Just keep in mind that the simpler the design the better. The more detailed the design, the harder it is to make sure the printer is able to actually get all the details on the label.

I love this little printer. It was easy to set up. I bought extra labels when I purchased it. The only issue I have with it, is when it prints out the letters sometimes it's hard to read. The boarders are great. I love that it small and I can take it anywhere I go and works as long as you have internet connection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Already in Love
Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2024
This little printer just arrived today and after a few little hiccups, I am in love. The printing could be a little crisper aka HD but my laundry room and pantry do not need that level of detail. The print quality and choices of borders, font style, label sizes, etc. are good enough for my household organization. Love the reduced price too. Grab one. I did all my label editing on my phone. Fabulous because I can make random labels in my spare time, save and print later. Love it! So easy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun little printer
Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2023
Yeah, I said fun. Normally I print labels on my full-size printer, cut to size, then run them through my Xyron sticker maker. Yeah, a lot of steps and I’m limited to 1.5” wide - but it can be color so there is that.

I wanted something I could use for other things, like price tags, inventory barcodes, and the like. This came up in one of my maker groups and I thought I’d check it out. It had better reviews than some of the others I looked at and was more versatile. I figured why not?

Was a touch concerned about the software, since some said it was hard to set up. Nope. Went to the Apple App Store, downloaded the software and waited for my printer to arrive (I like to look at the software while I wait for delivery).

Package came, opened it up and pulled it out. Kind’a sea foam colored. It was already charged and the 70mm x 80mm labels were pre-loaded. I got the package with extra labels so I’d have enough to start with.

When it asks you to select your label, it can be a little confusing. So the roll that came pre-loaded I figured out corresponded to the White-7080 labels. The numbers after the color are the dimensions of the label. So that choice corresponded to the 70mm x 80mm labels.

I added a pic of the printer with the first label I made. I wanted to see how it handled QR codes and barcodes. When you select the QR code option, you enter the data to be contained in the code (I used a URL) and it will generate the code for you. When I scanned the code, it took me to the proper website. The barcode option has several formats to choose from. I picked the 128 and used a URL. That also scanned properly.

The case is overkill I know. I had gotten a Harbor Freight Apache 1800 case for my temperature probes but it didn’t work out. However, it’s the perfect size for the printer, rolls, and USB adapter. I could probably fit a backup battery in there as well.

I’ll update in the future if my opinion changes.
