For the price, these are a fairly decent value.
The wire is pretty thin especially on the smaller pins and the heads can bend sideways.
The spring tension isn't overly tight.
The depth of the head combined with the spring tension does keep the pin closed most of the time even with "accidental" pressure.
Some of the heads didn't get pressed correctly during manufacturing and only one side is open rather than both. I've been able to correct that on most of the ones I've found by using a pair of needle nose pliers.

The case is pretty nice, but the plastic latches are tight and make it hard to open (i.e. have to be careful not so spill the pins all over when the latches finally do release).

There are a lot of safety pins in this box! The pins themselves are OK, but a little on the thin side. I won't be keeping them in my emergency box for holding things together, but they will do just fine for crafts and things. The box itself is convenient in that it has divided sections, and I can see that at one point in time, each size of safety pin probably had its own section, but they arrived all jumbled together. Maybe on a rainy day, I can convince my daughter to help me sort them.

I am always looking for a safety pin and can never find them. I always find the package when I don't need it and don't remember where it is. This set is a sturdy plastic case with multiple sizes of safety pins. It's perfect. It's large enough that I will find it when I need it and it has so many with different sizes that I'm sure it will meet my needs.

My only critique is that there aren't super small safety pins. I don't usually need ones that small but that would be the only thing I would like to see more. That does not impact my positive rating because this is a great set.

This set of pins is wonderful! The different sizes are perfect to have for all needs you might have. My kids do a lot of crafting and these are great quality to use for that. I've also had ward rope mishaps for teenager's and was super glad to have these on hand and have some tiny ones in the set. Great set overall!

Ordered these to include in sewing kits that our church is putting together to be sent to impoverished places. The price is good and they come in a nice, divided plastic storage container. The pins themselves are medium quality at best. They go through fabric without snagging, so the points are sharp. There were only two that were misshapen in the whole container, which I thought was pretty good. There are lots of sizes. I counted them, and there were actually 375, not 380 as advertised. Personally, I’m going to look for pins with thicker wire. If we’re going to send them to people that really need them, it’s not very helpful to send pins that might not hold up well. Slightly disappointed, but quality is not entirely out of line with price. These are not as bad as the dollar store variety at least. If you want them for casual use, they would be OK, but they’re not outstanding.
