I got this for the projector I ordered for my daughters room,The first time we tried to use it I didnt have a stand so I had to figure out a way to lean it on the dresser at just the right angle. I foam pad holds it in place well. Just wish it had the screw at the bottom in case you didn't want to put it on the foam.

If you need a stand really bad... this one will do well

4 stars because it will require customizations for me to trust it. The top shelf is really heavy, and that makes it somewhat unstable. THe cell phone mount is a plus, but I don't need it.

However, what you are going to put up there was going to make it unstable anyway.

I also like the way the attachment works at the top... IT will be easy to make a lighter adapter later... or drill some holes in what they provided... to customize it. So, this is really more of a starter-kit that you can easily customize late-- at least for me.

I would suggest getting the taller model even though it will be less stable--because you can nearly always adjust down to what you need. Also, once you get it adjusted, you can further customize the base by fixing it to a wider apparatus. (But you can start using it right away if you are careful!)

Assembly was very easy. I won't be transporting this stand anywhere so portability was not an issue for me. Overall, I feel this stand is fairly sturdy 'for the money.' The nature of all of these stands is that they will be top heavy when you have your equipment placed on the tray, so stability "depends" on how much traffic, or movement, will be occuring around it - one little bump and it will start rocking, one good bump and it will fall down for sure. I knew that it wasn't going to be a ' Rock of Gibraltar' stand, but it will work well for my small projector and other small devices.

trash, bent the first second i put together, the pin that sticks in the pole isnt even sized right, very small tray , couldnt fit a chrome book on it, but ITS GOT A COOL LITTLE BAG....trash, wish i could sue these people for my time
