By far these are the best pans I have baked in. The cakes cooked evenly, and did not brown on the sides. They easily wash up to look brand new, (I Hand wash everything).

Also, after the cake for my Hubs birthday was removed, I simply ran a bit of water in it, letting it soak for a few minutes, and it washed perfectly! Treated it as I do my good, very expensive cookware. Soaking cures all ills :) I loved the shape of the straight sides, which made for very easy decorating, and I did use parchment paper rounds, greased, which released wonderfully. Great item for all cooks/bakers!

Great product. We switched to Fat Daddio's pans a few years ago and they are the only cake pans we use in our commercial kitchen. Everything to like and nothing to dislike. The pans don't warp and we have no issues with the cakes sticking to the sides of the pan.

This is a well made pan, easy to clean and get the cake out of. It was a little smaller than what I needed but I still used it.

On the plus side, these pans do a really nice job evenly baking a cake, and clean up is pretty easy if you let them soak.
On the negative side, the "release" of the cake layer is awful, even after liberally pre-greasing and dusting the pan. Also, the pan stays hot much longer than other bakeware I've used, so if you leave the cake in the pan you may dry it out.
The "gold" pans from William Sonoma have a MUCH better release, but cost about 3x more, so it's a matter of deciding what your trade-offs will be., especially if you bake a lot (or if you are not at putting putting cake pieces that stuck to the pan back together)

These pans are a professional bakers dream! Sturdy and smooth fully formed from one piece so there are no nooks and crannies to leak, with a rolled edge at the top. Removing cakes is a dream. Bakes evenly. They have a nice weight to them without being too heavy. You will not be disappointed in these pans. Built to be with you for a lifetime!

Now that we're a two-person household we do not need a regular size cake. Found a recipe online for a 6-inch cake but needed a pan. Amazon to the rescue. Today I made a carrot cake (Easter is tomorrow). The pan is sturdy and appears to be good quality. I greased it well, lining the bottom with parchment paper and greasing that. I had no problem tipping the cake out of the pan. And cleanup was simple. I'll be seeking more recipes for small cakes so I can use this pan again.

I tried fat daddios after i couldn't find wilton and i feel in love with the brand. I like that it offers the taller 3". With a little canola spray (from costco) the cakes come out very easily. I now own every size from 6" to 16" in the 3"tall fat daddios brand and all my are 2" wilton.
