I bought this for a trip to the mountains in Georgia, and didn't plan to catch much of anything. However, this thing handled a 20+ pound trout with no problem. It was a long fight, but used the stock fishing line. Line was pretty stretched out afterwards, but it was a testament to the quality of the gear. I was truly surprised when I saw the trout take my bait, I knew for sure it was going to break right off, but it held. I'd definitely recommend this for most fishing situations.

Clearly cheap but should be fine for an infrequent casual. I got the blue and red ones; the red was wrapped up tightly and shipped fine, the blue is just set inside an oversized box. First blue one came broken, got a replacement and although it was sent the same way it made the trip. I haven't used them yet, I'll update the post later if anything is noteworthy.

For 1 U can't beat the price. 1rst I got 1 and was very happy with it, plus it comes with 10lb line which covers alot. The drag works great and U can set it to when he runs with it it will click rapidly. I use a 50lb leader for catfishes teeth. Don't know if it will handle a 60lb cat, but sure it will handle way more than a 10lb. It's a great pole for a youth moving up from a Barbie pole, also for experienced. After the 1rst 1, a week later I ordered 2 more. Also the handle is longer than most making it set deeper in a pole holder. This is a great all around pole. I have 10 grand kids so probably be getting more.

Ok, I’m a pro rated saltwater big game fisherman and I was looking for something to brag about. Spooled this with 6lb braid and took it out of debbs inlet, went on the boat to fish for big fish. This time of year, we had giant stripers, tuna, dolphins, and all other species in blitzes for miles, all along the Long Island coast best fishery in years. Took it out on a treble hook , snagged a few bunker and brought it in. Switched the bunker to an inline 6/0 circle hook with a 40lb leader, ended up hooking into a YELLOWFIN TUNA with about 200yds of line on the spool fought this thing for hours but ended up getting him into the boat and he measured in at 60lbs and nearly 35 inches, so we kept him and ate him for dinner definitely the most fun I’ve had fishing for a while

The pole arrived without any packaging, its was rubber banded together and scratched on the shaft. The one line holder was a little bent, so the resin was cracked. I’m not going to bother sending it back, so I remedied it with some electrical tape. It’s a $10 fishing pole so I didn’t have high expectations, but was pretty disappointed with the condition it came in. I guess a plus is the pole is in “working” condition. The pole itself is very lightweight and compact
