5.0 out of 5 stars Functional! Roomy! Organizational Dream Come True. They Thought of Everything!

This backpack for the yarn artists among us is a dream come true. They truly thought of everything when they designed it.

There are an absolute plethora of slots and pockets for hooks, needles, books, and every conceivable accessory anyone seriously in love with yarn arts could dream of. There is nearly no chance that you could lose any of your hooks or needles as long as they're stored in this backpack (there's an elasticized band to bind the top part of your hook, and a nylon fabric well into which the bottom sits). Oh, and great news: Your ergonomic hooks WILL fit in these slots--even the size N: gently slide in the top half of the hook, starting from below the elasticized tab, and set the chunky handle into the well.

There's ample room for your books & instruction sheets and notepads, and to stash your yarn for one or two projects (if you're using standard skeins (not the 50-gram ones--then, even more space is available). I even had room to put in a half bag of poly-fill (since I'm working on some amigurumi projects presently). And, separate from ALL of these amazing features is a thickly padded section to lug around your laptop if you're so inclined!

In addition to the extraordinary functionality of the backpack, the construction is excellent! Quality fabrics are used, and it's classy looking on the outside. You can wear it on your back or you can carry it with the two cushioned handles on the top.

Without a SINGLE reservation, I highly recommend this backpack to all of the genuine yarn art aficionados out there, and/or as a special gift for someone whom you know is in love with crocheting and/or knitting.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for travel

Love this bag! It's very well made and I honestly didn't expect that for the price. I LOVE all the organizational features and the laptop pocket is a huge plus. I am learning to crochet as a hobby but we move around and travel a lot so this has made it so easy to keep up with my projects while trying to keep up with life haha. Size is great, material is great, and the organizational layout was well planned.

Perfect bag for all of my knitting and crochet stuff! Holds a fair amount of yarn and has more pockets than I know what to do with! High quality and I really like the color. It’s also soft and not super rigid, which is nice. Great price too.

This bag is great. I crochet and I have many tools and gadgets and this has the pockets to store them all. It looks like it would have plenty of room for the yarn or yarns I am working with for a current project. I don’t think it is roomy enough to store much yarn in it. It looks very sturdy and very cute. It would be great for traveling.

First, I was super hesitant to order this without reviews. However, the pictures and description fit exactly what I was looking for. Since there aren't other reviews, I'm trying to give an in-depth review

I have been using it for about a week and will update the review if things change.

I needed a bag that could be my work bag with a 15-inch laptop and iPad and my crochet bag.

    This fits the bill.

It could be better at both of those jobs, but I was tired of carrying two bags plus my lunch daily. So I wanted something that was ok or good at the two jobs, and so far, this has been good at both uses.

Working from the back to the front of the bag:

The straps are reasonably comfortable, no different than a typical backpack,

There is a small pocket on the back of the bag. This would be good for valuable items like a passport or a slim wallet.

The "computer" compartment works excellently. Sometimes getting big laptops in and out of bags is a hassle, but since it opens fully, it's been handy.

The central compartment: It's been easy to use while working on projects, but when the yarn balls were larger, they were hard to get into the dedicated compartments, so keep that in mind. I was making a plushy this week and could also easily keep some stuffing and the plushy, along with two balls of yarn, in the big compartment. If I didn't need the stuffing, I could have fit another thing of yarm. I also have my stitch markers and portable battery pack there. The cord that connects to the battery pack works and is removable if it breaks over time. I don't knit, so I can't speak to the knitting needle holders in the compartment. I wish the clear pockets in this compartment had closures, and I will probably add some since those items fall out when I open the compartment all the way.

The first front pocket: This is a deep, slim pocket. I use it to store specific pens I need. It would also fit a kindle or small tablet or book. It's been fully functional.

The front pocket has plenty of spots to place hooks and sleeve behind the elastic areas for the larger hooks. However, I do wish they were slightly different-sized. My metal hooks fit easily, but I only use them occasionally. I like the hooks with silicon handles, and they don't go in and out of the elastic easily, especially when larger hooks.

Overall, I like the bag, but a few things could be redesigned to make it more functional or easier to use. There was also a loose thread but so far that's the only defect I've noticed.

I'll update in a few months after traveling or if any defects become apparent.

This bag is my go-to. It comfortably holds my laptop, my tablet, and of course, all my on-the-go crochet stuff. There are SO many pockets, so many nooks and crannies, and the bag itself is nice and lightweight, even through me cramming it full of crap. I think I've stressed the zippers a bit, but they're nice and solid.

It holds all my hooks and needles so I don't have them spread all over the place. I like long needles for larger projects and this keeps all of them with easy access for me and I still have tons of room for the actual project!
