I always have a water or drink on hand, so this glass is a fun and stylish way to keep hydrated. The cup has an elegant feel—a nice rounded shape, delicate yet solid glass, and narrow enough to hold easily—and the top is a smooth bamboo with a rubber seal (and a rubber seal in the straw opening to keep the straw in place, which is a nice touch). It also comes with a stainless steel straw and a straw cleaning brush. I believe it's all supposed to be hand wash–only. I'll probably put the glass cup in the dishwasher anyway (though I can't yet speak to whether the monogram printing will wear off), but the top is definitely hand wash–only—it has smooth, glossy feel (not like raw wood), but it's not coated for water durability.

Overall, I can’t speak to the cup’s overall durability yet, but it feels solid and high quality, and it has a very nice elegant look. It definitely makes staying hydrated more fun!

We love this glass drinking jar with lid and staw. It's artwork is lovely and it appears to be well afixed so as not to wash off in the dishwasher. Time will tell, though it is advertised as dishwasher safe.

I love that the hole in the lid has a membrane to reduce the possiblity of leaks. The straw is reusable and comes with a scrub brush which is great!

This item was a gift for our mom who has Alzheimer's. She needs to see her drink so that she knows when she has finished it. She enjoys the decoration which draws her attention to the glass while not interfering with the visibility of the contents. So this glass is great for us!

DO read the description. This is only a 16oz glass which is perfect for my use. It is the same as a plastic bottle of water, so not very big. The glass is a bit on the thin side, but I like how easy it is for mom to get her hand around it.

I got this glass for my daughter. She really likes unique glasses with lids, and this one had her initial on it so she was excited about that. The glass comes well packaged in an appropriately sized box with a thick foam liner that completely encapsulates the glass. In fact, I think that this is one of the better packaging jobs that I have seen from any manufacturer lately. The glass is a good size and thickness and is a straight cylinder that curves inward a little right at the top. It fits nicely in the hand. It should be noted that the manufacturer recommends adding liquid to the glass prior to adding ice to ensure that the glass is not chipped or broken by dropping ice into the empty glass. The top is made of bamboo, and has a rubber o-ring to seal it to the glass and a rubber insert that seals against the straw. The bamboo is unfinished (raw) which gives it a nice look. However, it is important to ensure that the top it is able to dry completely after washing to avoid mold. The initial and artwork (flowers) are in all white, but are nicely done and asthetically pleasing. Also, the glass is not dishwasher safe (likely because of the initial and artwork that is on the glass), so it will need to be hand-washed. The stainless steel straw is a little more narrow that most, but is still adequate for the intended purpose. A long-handled straw brush is included to keep the straw clean.
My daughter was really excited to get this glass, and said that it would be perfect for her iced coffee. She actually thanked me multiple times and kept saying how much she liked it. I personally don't get excited over drinkware, but if my daughter's reaction is any indication then I think this would be a nice gift for someone special in your life.

I ordered this glass M cup for a caregiver who never seems to be able to find a cup in our home due to teenage boys taking them all and mysteriously making them disappear eventhough our rules are cups do not leave the kitchen.

First off I was greatly impressed how well it was packaged with it being glass. A+ 5/5 on packaging. Next is the monogram with beautiful font and flowers. A+ 5/5 on monogram. The metal straw is a 5/5 if you like metal straws, personally I do not yet I can appreciate the quality.

Here are a few things to pay attention to, but NOT worth a star deduction. First, do not put in dishwasher if keeping the monogram intact, though I am not sure how the top rack will do. Maybe it has something to do with the force of the water hitting the monogram. I also would not put the Bambi lid in the dishwasher to get completely soaking sopping wet to then not have enough air to dry if you do not use heat drying I could see the possibility of mold forming. I will be hand washing and making sure it is completely dry before putting on the lid or away.

Overall this glass M monogrammed cup with lid and metal straw is STELLAR!! 5/5 A+ 100!!

I really like this monogrammed glass - the glass is thicker than the other soda can glasses that I have seen (which is a good thing…less likely for me to break it), holds 16 oz, and is dishwasher safe (just not the lid - which judging from the plethora of other bamboo lids I possess, you hand wash it and it cleans up easily)(but will also more than likely lose its finish). I like having a lid on my glasses when I know I will be casually sipping on my beverage - it keeps dust, etc from getting into your drink. The lid fits well and you can use any kind of straw that you want with it, besides the one that it comes with. Nicely made, good quality, and very much recommended!

This set is packaged well and includes a bamboo lid, stainless steel straw and straw brush. The lid has a rubber gasket to insure a secure fit. The glass can handle both hot and cold drinks, but to play it safe, I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher. The monogram lends itself well to making this a wonderful personalized gift. Overall, a very unique drinking glass.
