Got this to put in my chair after a hip replacement. It is just right, soft enough, firm enough, soothing during those pain filled months which do go away I promise! I still enjoy this cushion it’s nice !

Good seat cushion. Very soft. Been using for a while now. Always poofs back up after use. One big problem is the location of the zipper. It's on the front right corner of the cushion. When you sit on it, the zipper digs into the seat of the chair. This has caused some damage to the leatherette of my office chair. Not happy about that.

This does take the pressure off your tailbone when you sit. I thought it would have been a little softer to sit on. It is rather on the hard side. I am using it for back support so it works for that. If there was a way to make it more cushion like or gel like, it would be a 5 star review. I will say that I gave it to a friend of mine who loves it. For her, it works really well for her weight. I am fairly thin so maybe that is why I wish it was softer. I do not have the weight to make it feel more like a cushion. That could be a factor.

This cushion came nicely vacuumed and sealed, but once it’s opened, it’s quite large in size and not easy to travel with which I initially bought it for. It’s nice to sit on, but not for me.

I bought an Amazon brand gaming chair a couple years ago. I've always been a little disappointed in it - mainly for the lack of cushioning in the seat. As a gentleman who has not been blessed with much built in padding, I find harder seats very uncomfortable. After dealing with dull pain in my tailbone area while sitting for years, I decided to buy an extra pad for the chair. It just arrived and Oh My Word... I should have bought this years ago. Immediately, my backside is much more comfortable and the notch for the tailbone has made the pain while sitting go away almost instantly. To account for the extra cushion thickness, I dropped the overall chair height about an inch, and raised the arms and lumbar pillow to match. Now I can sit with the same proper posture, but much less backside pain.

I read the reviews and was skeptical when I bought it, but it holds up well, gives be support where I need it most and does not go flat. I imagine if you do not meet the specification requirements then you might have issues, but this cushion works great for me. I have Arthritis in my pelvis and need it when I sit on a hard surface. I no longer have pain after sitting in a hard chair. I use it at church and other places. It stays in my car so that I have it when I leave the house.
