Worked better than I expected. Saw some bad reviews. Easy to assemble, easy ignition and burned off all weeds from driveway, sidewalks and pavers. No spraying of chemicals needed!!

This really kills nasty weeds like desert broom here in Phoenix area that have grown to big to kill with weed spray. Be sure to read all the instructions even though its very easy to set up. I use it with the Flame King 3lb tank even though Flame King says to use a larger tank. The 3lb propane tank when full is fine for me. I think the 10lb tank would wear me out. I was able to do our large yard in one shot. The tank indicated it was empty just as I finished.

Igniting the weed flamer is easy with the push button igniter. The flame can be adjusted with a knob that's near the handle. I found it's best to flame the weed near ground level to really kill it. Flaming it at it's highest point causes a lot of flame but may not fully kill the weed. It's a good idea if there are leaves near the weed to remove them before flaming as they will catch fire also.

I'm rally glad I found this product.

This thing works great! I wish it had a longer hose as I use a 20lb tank for my walk through garden and it does get a bit cumbersome trotting it behind me. If it had a 10 or 12ft hose it would be full mint. It's easy to use and puts out more than enough flame to rid your gardens of intrusive weeds to get them under control. Be mindful it only kills the foliage ontop so the roots will most likely regrow, but it gives you a second chance to keep it maintained. Oh and prob a good idea to wear some boots and jeans while using this thing. Made the mistake of testing it while in shorts and yea, I don't have leg hair below my knees.

This is a great item the firestarter on it works very well. The wire is far enough back to where it won’t burn. The adjustable knob on. There is easy to use, gives great power, or gives very low power just depending on how you use it handle is very very sturdy and this is just the easy item to use. No muss no fuss, no newspaper, lighter cubes. Glad I got it, especially to get rid if ice on the brick steps or concrete sidewalk and driveway in the winter if needed.

Seems to be well made and it does indeed work well. Pretty easy to get setup and running. Attach the tank, open the valve and press the built in ignition.

Ive mostly used it to burn some weeds in areas I can't seem to control. Time will tell if they come back, but I got a big smile roasting them to ashes. :)

I can see myself using this to quickly start fires in my pit as well.

Only downside for me is that it does not have the ability to attach to small, portable propane tanks. I'd like to have more mobility. I thought it included an adapter but I must have mixed with other options. Not enough to knock down a star, but know that you cannot attach to smaller propane tanks. Maybe there is an adapter?
