These shear pins fit the snowblower fine, and I like the small figure-8 clips better than the pins you bend the legs over. If replacing a broken shear pin in the snow, I find grabbing the figure-8 clip with needle nose pliers to an easy way to install or remove the clips.
I think these pins shear a little easier than the original shear pins, but honestly I would rather that then have them NOT shear and damage the snowblower; especially after I rebuilt the whole thing. Nice price for the set too.
Use tip: when installing these be sure to coat the pins with some grease; it will make punching out the section of the shear pin left in the drive axle much easier. Do this to all your shear pins, old or new. Believe me, you don’t want to be near zero conditions, with ice and snow impacted in your machine, while trying to hammer out a seriously rusted shear pin - trying to fit the pin punch and short stroke swing a hammer inside your auger housing. Done that - I grease all shear pins now.
