Bought this as a replacement for my Cub Cadet 3x snowblower. Hook snapped after second use. Bought a few extra in case of replacement, but overall you get what you pay for.

Got slammed with a big snowstorm and went to use my blower and it stopped working because this part was broken. Thank goodness that I found it on Amazon. Came in 2 days and was able to clear the driveway!!

I replaced one at the end of 2019. I replaced another a couple weeks ago, the hook on the spring broke on the first use and shredded the belt thus breaking the clutch extension spring which is another week of down time it's winter here, the snow still drifts daily. I put 3 stars because I think there may have been some ice build up that caused the breakage. But frozen water vs fexable metal and the frozen water won.
