Too Pricey for a Sunset Media Format

I have always loved the functionality of the product. It can allow you to mount, read, convert a ton of different image and file formats.
I have always purchased the Platinum versions.

However, this main software and the rest of the junk applications they have thrown in, is not worth the price they are asking for. Nowhere close.
There are a ton of other competing products out there that are much more inexpensive.

Oh goodie, Nero offers a SAAS option. That’s bright. pay $53 a year for software that you will need to utilize two years down the road. SAAS for this product is a joke.

No discount for loyal customer like me either.

Very disappointed with Nero and I am going to change platforms. I just don’t feel loved anymore.
Who really uses some of these junk applications they cram into the box anyhow?

worst piece of software I have used in 30 years

I have been using this software to create DVD's for many years. On the Average I waste about 8 DVD's for every one that actually is a functioning DVD.
Support is never able to fix the problems.
They have about 10 programs on the same download and none of the programs synchronize with each other thus making the program crash every time I try to use it.
I hate this software because it is loaded with bugs that are never fixed and Nero Support just wants to sell more DVD's and never fixes the existing problems.

Crossfade Transition Freezes

The media could not be loaded.

I purchased the 2020 Nero Platinum Suite in hopes to replace the 2018 & 2014 versions. However, my expectations were dashed after installing the new 2020 Nero Platinum version because the video crossfade freezes halfway on the frames before & after the video crossfade. This is the problem I had with the 2018 version as well. So if I want to utilize the video crossfade, I have to use my old trusty 2014 version of Nero Platinum. Below is the Support Teams response to my particular issue, which was of no help to me:

Hello Jason,
I check the video which you send to me, are the video before and after crossfade cut from the same video?
We modify the transition logic from Nero 2018,
use still image to instead of dynamic data for transition while apply it to the trim point in the same source clip.
