5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE! Has really helped me sleep

I was waking up constantly from being sore. Occasionally my arm or hip joint would even tingle and fall asleep. With this thing I feel like my body gets much better quality rest. I like how I can flip up the side pillow to easily get into and out of bed. It’s also a great place to fit my left arm through.

My only issue with this pillow is I wish there was an Egyptian cotton or just nicer, smoother cotton option or addition. This cover is kind of scratchy so it is rough against my face and skin.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Pillow!

I haven't tried any other pregnancy pillow, but everyone I talked to highly recommended this one and I am VERY happy with it! The first day I got it I was 19 weeks and had started to get uncomfortable starting at about 16 weeks. When I first laid down I wondered why I had never used a pregnancy pillow in general before!

Pros:
- Padding amount is great! Fluffy and thick enough to be comfortable without being hard
- Size is good for me (not sure how hubby feels) it takes up about half our full/queen bed as long as I've got it pulled to me.
- I love my regular pillow and was hesitant that the pillow part wouldn't be comfortable, but it is! My head stays comfortable and it is the right balance between propping my head up and being squishy. I like squishier pillows.
- I haven't tried a "C" shape pillow, but I like the "U" shape to get support on both my back and my legs. It is easy to move the side away to get up to go to the bathroom.
- I've had it for 11 weeks now and it is still in good shape like when I bought it! Hasn't lost fluffyness.
- It is washable! There is also a handy zipper at the top of the head part (on the actual pillow under the fabric cover) where you can access to fluff. So even if it does lose fluffyness or if you don't like what it is currently at, you can add more or take some out!
- It has a good amount of weight on it, it is sturdy!
- Comfortable for many sleep positions and sitting up also!
- My dogs like laying in it as well, which can also be a con...you pick ;)
- I'm 5'2" and I personally like where the curves in the pillow are at.

Cons:
- I always sleep with one arm under my pillow....turning onto the other side in the middle of the night is a pain and I usually wake up. I do think since I'm pregnant I'd be waking up to roll over anyway, but sometimes if I'm laying too close to the pillow (where my shoulder is under the head pillow part) then I definitely have to wake up to roll.
- I'm constantly having to pull the sides closer to my body, the part at my back usually scoots away from me at night, so when I reposition I have to pull it closer. The positive of the ability for space between the sides is that I can easily move one side to get off the bed and have enough space.
- Taking off the fabric to wash it was akin to taking off skinny jeans for another person who isn't helping you. It is in the wash now, but I imagine putting it back on will be about the same experience. I may make dear husband do it for me...Basically a slightly more painful process to putting on a pillowcase on a regular pillow, it is to be expected.
- It doesn't support under the bump. It's really good to cuddle with, but my bump is still next to or under the pillow and not on top of it, so I'm not getting support that way. I'm still comfortable, but if that is important you might want to get this and a wedge or something to support the bump. I haven't felt like I needed the wedge because it doesn't bother me (and I didn't want to bother with switching the wedge every time I rolled over) but I bought the pillow because I had started tucking the comforter under my bump to support it, so I was bummed that I can't get the pillow under the bump. It may work well for someone who is carrying different than I am, but hasn't worked for me. BTW this is how it is shown in the pictures, maybe I just had unrealistic expectations?

I think the Cons are probably the same cons that every U shaped pillow would have and aren't specific to this brand. I would keep those in mind when deciding between a U or C. I really like having support on both sides, so I'm glad I went with the U shape!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for tall side sleepers

I'm not pregnant lol, but I love pregnancy pillows and this design is my favorite one I've bought. Body pillows are great, but pregnancy pillows are next level comfort :P

I find this pillow to be very comfortable and I now struggle to sleep without it when I travel. It's the perfect body pillow. I love bringing it to the couch to curl up on the lounge and watch a movie

I've cleaned the outer cover a few times since getting it, and it's holding up very well going through a normal wash cycle. Getting the cover back on and round the bend of the pillow is a little bit of a hassle, to be honest, but that's kind of the case with all body pillows like this

Honestly, no real complaints with this one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great pillow! Soft! Comfy! This review compares to the Snoogle!
Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2020
***This review will compare this pregnancy pillow to the C shaped Snoogle!!!!! Just warning people! It’s what I had with my last two and the only thing I have to compare it to.

First let me say that shipping was fast and it came very well packaged. The cover is super easy to get on and off which is a huge plus! With the Snoogle I had I found the cover to be a pain in the butt when needing to be washed and the fabric was just “meh”. With this one I can easily take it off and wash it and put it back on with no issues and let me say, the material of this U shaped pillow is AMAZING! Probably one of the best things I like. Ok, on to the pillow itself. It was different when I first laid in it. I was use to a C shaped pillow and it took a few to adjust. The ONLY complaint I really have with this pillow is that it’s short. I read a few reviews saying that it was short but the people said they were 5’6” or so and I figured since I’m only 5’3” that it would be fine for me. It’s definitely not a deal breaker and it’s not that it’s “too short” but shorter than the C shaped Snoogle I was use to but also bc a C shaped one wraps around sort of so it being “too short” isn’t an issue. So it was different with this being short. In order to sleep I thought my head would be positioned on the top of the pillow itself and my shoulders would be on the bed. But that position does make the pillow too short and it’s not very comfy. So how I started sleeping on it was with the top of the pillow sort of more under my armpit. I sleep on my side with my arm up and under a regular pillow and the top of the pregnancy pillow rests under my armpit area. If that makes sense. Again it was odd at first bc I haven’t experienced it before, so maybe that’s how you’re supposed to sleep with it, although none of the pics they advertise show someone sleeping like that, but I found this way to be more comfy and to make up for the “too short” in length situation otherwise I wouldn’t be able to use it. I have slept and napped with this pillow for 2 days/nights now and I will say it definitely works great! At first I had some doubts but again I think it was just me getting used to the shape. Now it’s like heaven and I do love that I don’t have to flip the pillow over when I switch sides like I did with the C shaped Snoogle. I did get the regular size pregnancy pillow bc I loved the material bc the bigger ones have a different material, more like the Snoogle I assume, and this material seemed softer. Again I thought the length of this one would be fine bc I am so short. Idk if I would like the longer one bc I love this material so much lol at first I contemplated “should I try to return and get the longest one?!” But then after one night I decided to keep it bc the material really is to die for hahaha it may sound crazy but it really makes a huge difference. And the pillow does still go between my legs just fine and it’s very supportive. It doesn’t deflate or get flat when I’m sleeping with it. It’s pretty great. If it wasn’t for the length I would give it 5 stars, but that’s my ONLY complaint so far. 25 weeks pregnant with my third. I will update this review in a few weeks IF anything changes my opinion about this pillow as I use it. So far, it helps me sleep great and has really helped me get relief from pain I was having. It doesn’t make me too hot.

Note: if you do not see an updated version at the top of this post in a few weeks, that means my opinion has stayed the same and it remains a great pillow! Original date of review: 2/13/2020
