This was a gift for a friend with cancer. He was telling me how much he loves the smell of cinnamon and I saw this on Amazon. It's a light scent - not overly strong and it's beautiful. He loves it!

Burns nice and evenly. The vanilla cupcake scent is divine! Lasts a nice long while too. Scent throw isn't beast mode, but it is above average. Overall, very much worth the money!

I've purchased so many candles. Super high brands included, but I'm back to trusted Yankee. This smells up my entire living room. When someone walks in they always say, "it smells so good in here".. that's my Yankee candle. I do trim the wick a little before each use so I don't get tunneling and I always get a clean burn. I'm on autoship and I plan on it staying that way. I have 2 Australian Shepherds when they come in from playing they stink. I can't bathe them everyday, besides, it's not good for them. My Yankee Candle to the rescue. My only hope is they don't go up to a ridiculous high price, but these are worth it. Great purchase and who doesn't like Vanilla Cupcakes. It does smell like you have some freshly baking in the oven.

Pro: I purchased this brand and Vanilla Cupcake candle because I wanted to freshen up my apartment and also have an emergency power outage candle for when we have those California rolling blackouts to prevent electrical fires during summer heatwaves when air-conditioners are in high use. I don't have one of those, but everyone is affected when our power company has to do it. I can rest easy with this candle in its own glass jar and it has a strong scent within a half hour of burning it that I'm not allergic to and my partner said he thinks it smells like a vanilla tapioca pudding rather than a cupcake, and I agree. My small senior apartment complex isn't allowed to have candles that aren't in a safe heat resistant glass container so this is perfect. It is important to trim the wick prior to using it and each time thereafter to 1/4". Instructions are listed on the product box. Keep out of drafts to lessen the wick smoking and extend the life of the candle.
Con: We moved the candle from the bedroom to the living room (which is much larger) because the candle scent becomes very noticeable after about 20 minutes or less in each room. If you have a larger home (mine is 600 sq. ft.) it may take longer to fill the entire home. I'm not sure if that's a pro or a con, but I mention it because I suspect it depends more on how long you want to enjoy the pleasant light. I highly recommended it even though we are both sensitive to all fragrances. Hope that helps folks decide. I have enjoyed the second one I purchased even more because the weather has been pleasant enough to leave the windows open. Definitely a positive for me now!

It’s a good brand overall but the top of the glass broke. I ordered another one and it came melted. They did replace it though. Never had a problem with these candles before.

Yankee Candle is my go to candle. It's the only candle we burn in my house. I bought the vanilla cupcake this time and it smells great. It smells just like a vanilla cake cooking in the oven. It is strong enough for a large room but not overpowering.
