These are sturdy and keep a charge for a while. Although they do outlast factory controllers, they do go bad. Both of mine went bad the same way, the left control knob stopped auto running. It is a common problem with control knobs, even factory PS 4 controllers do it.

Worked really good for the first two weeks. I only play 1 game 2x a week at most, so rarely. After the 2nd week, the right joystick shoots straight up in game, it is more than annoying. I tried everything from plugging it back in to console to reset it, sticking pin in hole of remote to reset it that way too, alcohol/qtips, using pressurized air, and messing with all the set buttons. Something is up with the battery as well. It will say it's charging when it's not, or say it's full when its really dead. It's just horrible. It's cheap, didn't expect this kind of quality though.

4.0 out of 5 stars PS4 Controller w/ Xbox Layout

I really like this controller. What drew me in was that it was PS4 controller but with a Switch/Xbox controller layout. I've been using this controller everyday since it came in the mail (a month as of this review). I like that certain parts of the controller are textured for a better grip (triggers, sticks, touchpad, backside). The lowest brightness setting is still bright imo. Connecting the controller to each device is easy. Just follow the manual. You will have to reset (tiny hole on the backside) your controller if you want to use it for multiple devices.

Things I've noticed: The square, triangle, circle, and x button faces also have a raised texture feel. I wonder if the printed details will last or eventually rub off over the years. The left stick has been carved by the controller shell just from normal use, as shown in my photo. I've just been playing RPGs and puzzle platformers with it. I don't know if it'll have any impact like drift in the future or it'll just be cosmetic wear and tear. The macro buttons are easy to click on accident. Especially when using L3/R3. Not a big issue since I don't really use them.

Most of the buttons don't make a very loud sound. The shoulder buttons (L1/R1), L3/R3, and start/select are the only ones that make a noticeable clicky sound. The sounds of the buttons are in the second half of my video.

Switch: The first part of my video shows that you can connect this controller to your Switch. All the buttons work as they would on a Switch controller. Circle = A, X = B, Triangle = X, Square = Y. The TouchPad is the screenshot button. The P button is the home button. When the controller battery is low, it will obnoxiously tell you every second on screen that it is dying. ***Please note that this controller will NOT wake your Switch up! In order to connect it after pairing, you must manually turn your Switch on every time you want to use this controller.***

Android (mobile): Main reason for my purchase. I needed a wireless PS4 controller for my mobile game. I have a different 3rd party controller that has the same layout as an official PS4 controller, but ended up not working right for mobile. Thus I bought this controller. It's worked perfectly fine this whole time I've had it. The game I play recognizes it as a PS4 controller. Does not alert if the controller is low on battery. It'll just turn off.

PS4: Sub-reason for my purchase. It connected immediately to my PS4 with the cable. My PS4 has no issues with this controller. It recognizes it as a PS4 controller. I haven't seen any kind of input delay. The game audio sounds perfectly fine when earbuds are connected to the headphone jack. I don't know how well mic audio is. My PS4 did recognize a mic was connected to this controller. In the mic options, it did show that the system could hear mic audio. Take that as you will. The P (home) button will change colors based on which player it is (P1 blue, P2 red). It acts very much like the official PS4 controller's lightbar. It WILL turn your PS4 on.

The manual claims it'll also connect to iPhone (iOS 13 and above), Macbook, windows PC, PS3, and Steam Deck. Have not verified this. I don't see why it wouldn't though since I got it connected to my Switch very easily. Just follow the manual instructions. Some devices pair in different ways. Example: for Switch, you press and hold the OPT and P buttons for 3 seconds. For android mobile, you hold Share and P for 3 seconds.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a PS4 controller but with a Switch/Xbox layout. If they ever come out with a PS5 version, I'll probably buy it. Knocked a star off just cause of how badly the sticks have gotten carved up.

This is a solid controller with a good feel and lots of features for a really low price. Much cheaper than buying the Nintendo mini controllers and does everything it needs to. Effortless to connect to the switch and feels good in the hands. Highly recommend.

I have stick drift left stick goes up only been 2 1/2 weeks since I’ve had it- also the “x” button where the x is supposed it’s actually a design but anyways, it sticks as well pretty bad actually have to tap it over and over gently to loosen it back up as oppose to a gaming scenario where it will be put to the test with a bit more pressure and or use- in the end the controller feels and looks awesome lights up etc no disconnect but it’s already having serious issues with function ..maybe I got a bad one who knows ???? good luck gamers!!! ????
