Not feature packed but I can set it to two temps per day so 65 over night and 70 in the day. Was easy to hook up to my Goodman super efficient furnace..... This thing is tight on temperature control - love that it's so accurate w/o temperature swings - if you set it at 70, it keeps at 70, not 69 or 71. I just built my house, so really efficient and may help!
Update 1yr Later: Still works great and temp doesn't vary, easy to hook up 8 wire low voltage (like old phone wires but stranded core instead of solid core). Programming is pretty straight forward.
With propane, 3 or 4 Temps a day would be nicer to help conserve!

I installed this thermostat after my generic existing one died. The actual wiring and install process is super simple.

Now I'm a millenial and I work in tech. So while I was able to run through the settings relatively easily, I could totally see my parents just being completely lost trying to set it up. Probably why they still have the old dial analog thermostat ha

Anyway, the instruction manual tells you how to access the settings and what each one means, but you absolutely need the manual to know what you're doing because it just asks for values like 0,1, or 2. Without the manual, you have no idea what 1, 2, or 3 actually does. I also didn't bother with the scheduling features, but they are also a bit clunky.

Because of the cryptic settings, I downloaded the .pdf instruction manual and put it in my Google Keep Notes because you won't be able to change settings without the "legend" to tell you what each thing means. Now I can pull it up on my phone if needed, I have no idea where the physical manuals end up lol

$10 less than for each than new and worked great, but did not include the user or. Installation manuals so one needs to use the nightly ‘Google’ to get them.

Instructions were very clear, and with no previous experience I was able to install easily! Easy to program, love it. Doesn't need to be hardwired, so was a perfect replacement for my ancient thermostat on my ancient furnace. The thermostat I replaced was probably 50 years old, lol. So definitely compatible with old systems.

wired this into my RV and took 5 minutes, uses only batteries for power, so keep that in mind. RVs are DC and AC powered, just depends on the appliance. does not work in heat mode, only A/C.

This "renewed" thermostat replaced a Honeywell thermostat that worked for more than 10 yrs. It would not operate heat or cool functions even thou all functions were lit and new batteries were tried.

the product is evry efficient and slick it gives the living room the humidity that i wanted it does not use a lot of water ,.i run the unit almost evry day for 6 to 8 hours cause its hot especialy during noon time and i can feel the dry feelng so i put it on and it works right away.im planing to get another one for the master bedroom soon.i love this product because its not bulky.and the look is very nice .it does not take a lot of space in our living room thanks again i love this unit

I ordered this to test on one thermostat, and just ordered a 2nd for the other thermostat.

The display is lighted and larger than the old units. Buttons are large and clear. The programming is easier. I like the fact that you can set it up so weekdays and weekends can be programmed together.

Instructions were clear for a DIY homeowner. Do save the manual so if you need to completely reset it you have a guide. Some of the first installation settings are digits only and you need the manual to know the correct digit to use.
