Never have done embroidery before but this kit was easy and fun. Turned out great. Instructions were good and I also used YouTube to clarify particular stitches. Note, I ordered from this company on their website and also ordered one off of Amazon. Extremely slow shipping from the company’s website. Try to order off of Amazon instead. Got it the next day.

Nice Embroidery Kit with Everything You Need

I've been getting into embroidery lately as it relaxes me better than ambien...and I wake up without a hangover! So I've been on the lookout for embroidery kits.

This is a pretty standard beginner one, with all the stuff you need to get started + an instruction book. The book is okay. It feels sort of between the rank beginner instructions of a truly instructional workbook and a more advanced one that's like, "just do chain stiches here. You know what a chain stitch is, right?" But it's closer to the more advanced version. If you've never embroidered before, this might be a touch too complicated.

The kit comes with pretty much everything I imagine someone needing. There's the printed cloth, a hoop, two needles, a TON of embroidery floss and, strangely, a mystery wooden block. (I think it's for wrapping embroidery floss around, although am not sure. Mystery!!!)

I like the pattern pretty well. It uses a bunch of different stictches with different textures, which is nice. It's not, say, all boring cross stitch. The finished product, I'm guessing, will look super pretty. (If I do finish it, I'll post here. But that'll take a month or two at minimum. So...)

It does feel a touch on the pricey side. There are other embroidery kits that give you 4 patterns for $20 (vs. this one which gives you one for about $25, I think?) So this definitely isn't the best deal. OTOH, the cost of the embroidery kit is probably worth almost nothing next to the time you put in embroidering. (And I have one that a coworker apparently paid $70 for. So...this isn't the worst value, either.)

Which is to say, if you like this pattern, this one feels like a solid buy. It doesn't include scissors, but it has pretty much everything else you'd want/need, and it all feels of solid quality. (To be fair, I'm not sure how you screw up an embroidery hoop, printed fabric, or embroidery floss. But I'm sure it's possible!)

EDIT: Pattern is completed. I decided not to outline the words as I'm not a huge "words in embroidery" sort of person.

I personally think it looks great. Kit took about 7 hours to complete and turned out pretty much exactly the way it is supposed it. There was also plenty of floss left over. Really lovely pattern!

This is a beautiful kit. It is packaged well (very giftable). The instructions are clear, and the supplies are of nice quality. I like the holder as a nice bonus.

I picked up hand embroidery as a hobby during the pandemic, and I have completed many kits and projects of my own since then. This kit had a couple of stitches I don't typically see in beginner embroidery kits, and I was really intrigued by it. I also liked the Christian theme of this one.

This kit was well packaged (not simply thrown together, it appears someone actually took care in packaging it) and included everything except a pair of scissors. I appreciated that they had two sizes of needles and has the block to display it on. The floss is standard quality in a kit. Nothing was missing or broken or poor quality.

The instructions are better than any kit I have done before. It would be very easy for a beginner to pick this up with no prior knowledge and complete this kit with no issues. It is also wonderful that they have a QR code that links to all the instructional videos you could need if you do not know how to do the stitches. There are even instructions included on how to finish off the backside of your embroidery.

Overall, this is an excellent embroidery kit for a beginner or someone more advanced. If you are interested in picking up a new hobby, this kit will offer you everything you need to trial hand embroidery and gives a greater variety of stitches and more clear instructions than most other kits. I think this would make an excellent gift as well, perhaps for a birthday, Mother's Day, or just to cheer someone up, either as a kit or as the finished project.

I highly recommend this kit, and I am looking forward to ordering more from this company.

Totally beginner-friendly & giftable!

First off the presentation is beautiful! Look at that gorgeousness. This is really above and beyond for a craft kit, of which I've tried many.

I love the design and the color choices. It's really lovely as an art piece honestly. I'd happily display this if it turns out good, which I believe it will because the instructions are very clear. The instruction booklet has full color images, a clear layout and and thorough explanations.

I watched a couple of the videos and they were easy to follow and a good pace for beginners!

The thread quality seems pretty similar to the major brands of embroidery floss.

This embroidery kit has everything except scissors that you’d need to complete it. I think the packaging is really nice and would make a beautiful, but inexpensive gift. Embroidery is easy to pick up and do well the first try too so this design and instructions make for a quick and easy first-time project to get into the hobby.
I liked the Bible verse reference and simple background on this one and the colors were sweet.

This embroidery kit is great for beginners or experienced needle workers. The kit is beautifully packaged, has complete instructions available online in video format so anyone can learn the stitches needed. Contact information is provided in the package if you run into any issues or need instructions sent to you via email. The kit includes everything you need to go from raw materials to finished and displayed project, except for scissors. I highly recommend these kits and will be looking for more of them for myself and maybe even for gifts.
