I really liked this book. Chase Wild was the perfect cowboy cop hero and Summer was his missing puzzle piece. I loved all the suspense, although I suspected who was causing it from the beginning. It felt pretty lighthearted and I liked how it focused so much on Chase and Summer getting to know each other and falling harder for each other with each interaction.

The first book in this series focused on the Wild family as a whole but I felt like this book gave more insight into the town and the potential future couples. I liked the hints about the next few book and how they came from both Summer and Chase’s perspective.

This was just an all around, well written and entertaining book. I felt like I got pulled into this world quickly and it was over before I knew it. I definitely want to dive into the backlist because I would love to have a little more context with the cameos, but it wasn’t necessary to enjoy the book.

This new series is great. It is great we still get info about the characters in the Seattle series. (Erin's wedding is early in this book & lots of fun.) Love this new small town atmosphere & characters. In this he falls first but is patient, waiting for her to be ready for more. The wait is worth it & the process is fun. There is an edge of danger in the story, but not the main theme.

Bitterroot Valley is officially on my list of booktowns that I want to live in. I can see it all perfectly in my head and picture myself there when I’m reading this book as well as Wild for You. I love traveling here with these characters.
Chase and Summer’s story was the perfect amount of swoony goodness. We had a delicious tease of them at the end of Wild for You. I was thrilled when their story picks up right where we left them. I loved the pace and vibe of this story. Their romance felt so organic. Friends to Lovers is written in the most pleasing way. I enjoyed every minute of them falling for each other. I’m pretty sure I fell just as hard haha.
I double-read this one haha first in the ebook and then the audiobook. Perfectly cast with Conner Crais and Stella Hunter. I was new to Stella Hunter with this read. Her performance as Summer was meant to be. I can’t wait for more Bitterroot goodness to come.

Chase & Summer's story is the second book in The Wilds of Montana series from Kristen Proby and it was an absolute delight. I loved how patient Chase was with Summer, sensing when they first met that she was not ready for a relationship and holding out for her to actually be ready. This book had a great storyline, a lot of heat, engaging characters and as always with a Kristen Proby read, the best girl gang moments. I always love reading about strong, independent woman who lift one another up. There was a bit of suspense/mystery as well, which added nicely to the story. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series and for this one, Forehead Kisses Are The Best!

Summer left her home and family behind and took refuge with her Aunt in Bitterroot Valley after she discovered her best friend in bed with her boyfriend and realized she wasn't living the life she really wanted to. There she worked in her Aunts flower shop, eventually taking over the business. She has always felt an attraction to Chase Wild, a police officer born and raised there, but she wasn't ready for anything when they first met, however five years later things are different. They are finally thrown together when Summer hears someone trying to break in to her home and calls the police, and we have a bit of suspense as she keeps having issues with someone targeting her.

I really loved both Summer and Chase and their love story is very sweet. I also really loved the glimpses we get of characters from previous books and books to come. Although I really enjoyed parts of their story and the side characters, it was 3.5 stars.

Oh, what a fantastic read! This was the perfect cozy romance and this is quickly becoming one of my favorite series. I am in love with the Wild family and their delightful Montana life.

Chase and Summer’s love story is passionate, sweet and swoony, and I loved seeing these two together! The chemistry builds beautifully, and their easy friendship very quickly turns into more as their mad attraction becomes completely irresistible. Kristen Proby did a fantastic job of allowing this moving romance to bloom organically. I loved how openly they followed their hearts. It’s beautiful to watch, and I was swept up in a world of swoon.

Chasing Wild sets a very high bar for this series, and it was an extraordinary addition to this captivating, sexy Montana-based world. A riveting, enthralling suspense plot paired perfectly with a heart-racing romance, and I absolutely inhaled this gripping and consuming story. I cannot wait to read more about this family, and after that perfect setup, I am so ready and excited for Ryan’s story!

I was so excited to go back to Bitterroot Valley, Montana. And I could not get enough of Chase and Summer. Once I started this book nothing could pull me away from it. This is such a sweet small town romance with just enough suspense to have you wondering who’s causing the bits of chaos. But seeing Chase so protective over Summer and Lily made him another book boyfriend Kristen Proby has written that’s become a favorite.

Things you can expect in this book a hot cowboy cop, a sweet flower shop owner, the most supportive girl crew you could ask for, Chase’s mouth ????, some suspense and the Montgomery family coming for Erin and Remington’s wedding. All of these together make the best book.

Conner Crais and Stella Hunter to an amazing job with the narration of this audiobook. I could listen to these two forever and they were cast so well to voice Chase and Summer. Seriously Conner Crais saying “Eyes. On. Me.” ????

I always enjoy this family, so it’s hard to rate the book when you know it wasn’t the greatest but you liked it anyway. If you’ve read the 15 or so books that came before it I’m sure you will like this one. If you are not entrenched in this family, probably a skip :)
