The reading is fast and hard to stop and pick up later. The plots and characters flow predictably from one book to the next. That is what makes it so much fun. The Murder Club friends feel like they are my friends. I know and trust that they will solve and/or win their cases yet it will always be exciting to sleuth with them through the twists and turns. As long as Mr Patterson keeps writing new Murder Club adventures, I’ll be riding sidekick to the last page-big fun!

To be honest, I didn't think that this Women's Murder Club was as good as the others that I have read. There wasn't as much action or detailed detective work, and the ending seemed rushed.

Each woman has their own drama in Work & Family to resolve. The bind that holds them together works to investigate different cases and support each other. Murders of the Fricke couple and related acquaintances keeps Lindsay busy. A Computer Spyware keeps Joe working. Yuki handles a difficult she says/he says court case. All are resolved by the end…until next time.

I have read all of the Woman's Murder Club Series but this will be the last one..I gave it 3 stars because the writing is good but it is really 3 novella's put in one book..They don't connect & 1 of them has Lindsay's husband as the main character in a cyber crime story..The book is sectioned into days of the week & each day has a chapter about each story..The chapters jump from one story to the next so you go from one to the next to the next & then back again..Its frustrating..Then for one story a connected murder happens in LA but the police there hold up the crime scene investigation so Lindsay can fly down from SF to take over..I mean please..that would never happen, & then it just stops. The Epilogue has nothing to do with any if the 3 stories..It's like it was just an add on.

Here is a wonderful book that you might like to read on a rainy day. I am a sucker for a romance story. This one has all the necessary love words and it is a great story about murder. Murder and love, what could be better. You will love it!

Embarrassed to say this is a new series for me, even though I've known about it for a long time. Here it is the twenty-fourth book and I'm jumping in extremely late to the party.

My Thoughts:
There is a lot going on in this book. Not one, but three active cases to follow and quite a few characters. I think I had better go back and read some of the early books in the series just to get me grounded in the characters - I'm sure those who have followed the books would enjoy it more. I don't think this is a stand-alone read as there is a lot of history with this group of women - and their men. However, I did enjoy the book and think I will go back and read some of the earlier books - maybe even the entire series because I think this would be a fun one to follow. All the cases in the book were interesting - one a young woman was multiple personalities is raped and there's a trial to follow; then, there is a hospital being held hostage by ransomware; then a couple is murdered a few weeks apart, but in the same manner. That's a lot to solve! Oh and one of the women may or may not be getting married? This murder club is a very busy group!
