It is true that the bottles are smaller than you'd expect. Only a little larger than a quarter. Although, if you're just wanting to try gel nails at home or want to save money, I believe this is a really cheap and easy way to start. I have been using an old UV nail lamp thing from years ago and it works just fine. I do 90 seconds all the time just to be careful, and it does the trick. There's a wide variety of colors and even a matte top coat if that's your thing. I did not have much of a problem with the stickiness or the thickness, it is just your technique for the most part.

The only thing this kit does not come with is the light to set the polish. Also, the nails at top do not come with the order. The light is necessary for the polish to set. So easy to use. 1) base coat-2) choose color or colors (go crazy…be creative). I take a fine brush to remove excess off cuticle ( keep off skin because it will lift). and wipe on rag type cloth. I cure each coat under light for 3 minutes. After TOP COAT cures wipe with napkin well dampened with 70% alchohol. Done. Soaks off easily in regular acetone polish remover. I will purchase again. So many colors! So easy!

I took a chance on these to save some money and do my own nails at home. You get so many colors for so cheap and I get a lot of compliments at work on the colors. You have to make sure to prep your nails properly or it will peel but as long as I take the proper steps it works great and lasts longer than other gel polishes you get in stores.

The bottles are definitely small, it’s great as a starter kit if you want to try different colors in this picture I used 2 coats. No bubbles my nails are acrylic and I’m not a professional. I did this style by myself and this is my left hand. Im right handed. It was a smooth finish. The cost was good for the amount of colors but it’s small not great it you have very long nails. Will run out quick but great if you want to use for a small to medium length nails and really great for designs. My nails are medium length.

I got really into nail art so I got this off of Amazon and oh my goodness the colors are so beautiful and vibrant and opaque. It has some thickness to it but definitely you can have it as thick as you want or as sheer and it cures under a lamp, and there’s just so many color options. and the color actually matches what the bottle shows, which is great too. The nail polish bottles are a bit small but still has so much product. You don’t need that much polish for gel manicures. it’s really good quality for the amount of money and the nail polish you get it’s such a good deal. strong polishes!

I purchased option 20set-01B and the colors are beautiful. The polish is a little thick so I shook it several times while using which seemed to help.

I also found that the trick to getting it streak free without clumps is to swipe it fast, don’t try to be perfect by slowly getting perfect edges. I tried that and it ended up being uneven. But on the rest of my nails I swiped more quickly, and it distributed more evenly. Two coats look great.

I saw others complain that it doesn’t dry or isn’t curing, but I cured mine under a 10 yr old Sensational LED lamp and it worked well. But I do cure each layer for 2 mins total instead of 30-60 seconds, because I’ve had others smear.

I only used one color so far, but will update if I find any other issues or tricks.

So yes, I do recommend these so far (just used it, not sure how long it'll last). They’re very tiny, but for the price it’s exactly what I was looking for. I feel like I finally have polish that I’ll finish before they dry up or get glued shut, so there’s that.

I have used this kit at least 10 times now and still love it. The colors are so vibrant. The light is simple and easy to use. Plus it comes with so many little details that you wouldn’t even think of. The only reason I took one star away is because the alcohol wipes it comes with smell like dead fish… so do your self a favor and just trash them and get your own.
