5.0 out of 5 stars Great Camera pouch!!
Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2024
This is a great pouch for the camera I have. The camera fits perfectly and the outside pouch is great for any extra batteries, tf cards and a usb cable for connecting to my computer to download and charging. Plenty of cushion to protect the camera with an inside lining that is good for the camera lens and lcd screen. I also have room to keep the small user manual inside too. Nice low price and looks good, with nice zippers, so a great buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little case!

I use this case for my Nikon Coolpix s9700. It is a little tight of a fit, but it works. The case is padded, and high quality. The zippers feel quite nice as well. I especially like the front pocket, as it fits a USB cord very well (or a dongle!). I have no cons, and for the price, its a steal.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality Bag, But Not Perfect
Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2015
Pros
-Is large enough for medium size cameras
-Outside Pocket for Spare Battery or SD card.
-Has a loop for belt
Cons
-Not the best looking bag
-Is not waterproof
-Does not provide a lot of protection.
Should you buy: Yes.
Actual Value: $12

Since buying a new Point and Shoot recently, I was looking for something to prevent my new camera from breaking or scratching. Seeing how previous products from AmazonBasics were of good quality, I decided to go with them here as well. This bag is good, but I think if you are looking for absolute protection from drops and water, there are better options.

-Design-
I don’t like the design. I don’t hate it. It’s just in the middle. Since this is one of the most affordable bags out there, I shouldn’t complain. In terms of functionality though, it is a good layout. There is a main pouch for the camera and a smaller pouch on the outside of the bag. There is a loop on the back that could make it useful as a belt pouch. It does come with a small lanyard, but I found it too flimsy for me to use. My Samsung WB350F is a pretty hefty camera, but it will fit tightly in the bag. I would not recommend any larger camera though.

-Quality-
Being an AmazonBasics product, I am satisfied with the quality. It is built nicely and the cloth should stand up to some scratches and scuffs. However, this bag has almost no padding at all. It probably won’t protect your device from impacts unless it is already protected by something else. But as a carrying bag, I can confidently say it will hold together nicely.

-Conclusion-
This is no bulletproof case. If you are looking for protection from bumps and abuse, this is not the bag for you. However, if you do want a lightweight, well designed, and functional bag for travel, it should fit your needs nicely. At less than $7, it is definitely worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fits Olympus Tough TG-6 perfectly
Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2024
It's sturdy and the size Large fits my Olympus Tough TG-6 perfectly. The front pocket fits two spare batteries and an SD card with room to spare. My only quibble is that one of the clips on the strap keeps unclipping somehow, and I'm not entirely certain how that's happening; however, it's only one, and the problem is easily solved by either using the belt loop or duct taping around the clip.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Large Case Snuggly Fits a Sony RX100 iii With Small Accessories
Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2018
I recently got a new Sony RX100 iii point and shoot camera and needed a carrying case. After reading reviews for many cases, I decided to just go with an Amazon Basics case. My main requirements of the case were 1) Fits that I can comfortably take the camera in and out of the case, 2) Gives adequate protection and 3) Uses a belt loop so can carry the camera on my belt.

The AmazonBasics Large Point and Shoot Camera Case meets all of the above for my RX1000 iii camera.

The case has three areas. First, the main zippered area to hold the camera itself. Second, a smaller outer zippered area to hold a few accessories and Third, inside the second area, a small pocket to hold something small like a spare SD card.

1. (Fit) I've managed to carry the camera (which is connected to an option grip), the usb cable and charger which came with the camera, a Sony ACCTRDCX Travel DC Charger Kit (Which about an inch longer than the camera's battery. I place a spare battery in the charger kit) and SD card holder. I placed the smaller wall wart that came with the camera on the bottom of inside case area, then slip the camera on that. The outer pocket, I placed a quarter (used to screw/unscrew the optional grip) inside a SD card holder. The rest of the outer pocket, I placed the usb cable that came with the camera along with the small ACCTRDCX Travel DC Charger Kit. The items store nicely and don't get in the way when taking things out or putting in the case.

2) (Protection) I've say the protection of the case is average. There is good padding towards the back where the LCD screen of my camera rests against. Towards the front where the lens is facing there is some, but less padding. Towards the sides, there is no padding.

3) (Belt Loop) The outer back of the case is a sturdy looking attached belt loop. I like this loop as along with seeming sturdy the loop is about two inches wide.

The case also comes with strap that clips onto loops to carry the case around the neck. I'm only interested in carrying this on my belt, that is a non-issue for me. The only minor quibble I have is the inside are two big tags like those on a mattress. First thing I did was cut off and remove the tag as that would've got in the way.

Overall, I give the AmazonBasics camera case 5 Stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality case, good price
Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2021
I have a Panasonic Lumix ZS60 and this fits it great, not too tight. What I really like is that there is a separate zipper pocket on the front so I can carry an extra battery, and SD card. Also, the strap on it can be adjusted to the length that you want. At it's longest it is about 46" so can easily be worn around my neck. The zippers seem sturdy. It also can be worn on a belt, and the strap can be taken off if you don't want to use it at all. IT is lined, and there is some cushioning to protect your camera should it get bumped around. Great little camera case for a great value. I didn't rate it on how water proof it is, I haven't tested that out but I would feel comfortable having it hang around my neck in a light rain, as the fabric is heavy enough combined with the lining and padding inside of it that I think it would be pretty protected.
