5.0 out of 5 stars Only worn a few hours, but I love them!

2nd time I have bought this type of glove, Duerer in black, fits a little tighter than my first version-the Imak brand.Actually a good thing, as I have lost 50#, and Imak was not as tight as needed. SO, this Duerer brand is a tighter fit, and feels great.
I may shorten the fingers. I wanted half-fingers but couldn't find this style with shorter fingers. They are too long when I crochet, but to keep hands warm, they are perfect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Relief!

I purchased a pair of the pink ones first then after trying them, I ordered another pair of pink and these gray ones. I use these daily. They've been very helpful with discomfort as I go about my day inside as well as working in the yard. They wash well by hand and the stitching is quality and holds the shape.

4.0 out of 5 stars I'm about to order a 2nd pair

These gloves are pretty good for the price. I have one pair that I've been using for a year now. I've lost the left glove so I'm getting another pair. I have not been diagnosed with arthritis but I have regular joint pain in my hands, likely from a combination of daily writing (typing) for work, school, and hobby as well as weekly gaming. My pain can range from mild to severe enough for me to be unable to partake in my work or hobbies. These gloves work really well for me, they eliminate my mild pain and provide a noticeable reduction with the more severe pain.
I had initially gotten a size medium, since that's roughly the size of glove I would wear normally. They did fit, but they fit too well to where they provided me with no compression, it just felt like wearing a normal fingerless glove. I was able to return it and reorder the small size with no issues and the small size did it for me. They give me mild compression in my wrist and a bit more around my fingers, which is what I wanted. Most of my joint pain is centered in my knuckles and fingers so the compression that these gloves give me at the base of each of my fingers is exactly what I need. They don't work as well for my wrists. However, when my wrist pains do flare up, which they do from time to time, I find that if I pair these with a compression band for my wrist (the gloves on and the band over the wrist part of them) then that makes the perfect duo to get some relief. So if relief in your fingers is what you're looking for, based on my experience, I would definitely recommend giving these a try. However, if you need relief in your wrist as well, you may need to pair these with a band for your wrist.

5.0 out of 5 stars crochet staple!

I've found the Duerer Arthritis Gloves to be incredibly beneficial while crocheting, providing both comfort and support for my hands and wrists.

These gloves are specifically designed for individuals dealing with conditions like arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, and tendonitis. What sets them apart is their fingerless design, which allows for dexterity and freedom of movement while providing gentle compression to alleviate pain and stiffness.

The material is soft and breathable, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods. The compression therapy promotes better circulation, which in turn reduces swelling and inflammation, helping to manage symptoms effectively.

I particularly appreciate the open fingertips, which enable me to maintain precise control and grip while crocheting. They also have a non-slip design, ensuring that my hooks and yarn stay securely in place without slipping.

The gloves are lightweight and don't restrict movement, making them suitable for various activities beyond crocheting, such as typing, writing, or even everyday tasks around the house.

While the gloves excel in providing comfort and support, they may not completely eliminate all symptoms, especially during prolonged use. However, they significantly reduce discomfort and allow me to continue crocheting with less pain and strain on my hands.

Overall, the Duerer Arthritis Gloves have become an essential tool in my crafting routine. They provide the support I need to enjoy crocheting without exacerbating my arthritis symptoms. If you're looking for a practical solution to manage hand and wrist pain while engaging in activities like crocheting, these gloves are a worthwhile investment.

3.0 out of 5 stars Feels good but got a hole
Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2024
Works well on the carpel tunnel pain if it’s minimal, but gloves are just fabric and susceptible to ripping. It’s been 9 months and I got a hole after infrequent use. Quality is ok not great. May not last you that long with repeated use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great gloves for post-Carpel Tunnel surgery

I bought these gloves to protect my surgery wound after it had mostly healed but was still so sensitive that it could hardly be touched by fabric. The gloves worked perfectly and fit well. My fingers are average size and there was enough room to still use the tips for everyday activities. A good purchase.

I love to crochet, draw and game. These came in handy when I strained my hand! Although I don’t want to rely on them too much but they helped minimize my pain for a bit!

4.0 out of 5 stars almost perfect
Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2024
the fit is true as advertised (for me, ymmv), and the material has a great feel. almost 7 months of consistent (gentle) use and laundering, and no significant signs of wear either. there could have been a bit more compression, and I'm not crazy about the fingers going to almost the final knuckle (preference thing), but worth the buy, and up for a re-buy if or when needed.
