Overall simple design, less stuff to break, battery lasting plenty, sand proof, simple to drive but still a real RC experience. A+++
Bought for an enthusiastic 4 year old, so it needed to be above all, rugged. This thing has been taking hits for many many sessions and shows no damage at all. AWESOME.
The thing needs to be relatively simple to drive but not crippled like traditional cheap rc’s. Well once again the DeeRc monster truck shines. The pistol grip radio gives my boy a chance to get familiar and comfortable with this type of controller and it steers and goes f/r as you would expect. Only one speed, and the turning is skid steer style so not so precise, but it works and gives the “real RC” experience to the younguns.
The battery life has been great. We drove it for over an hour on the beach on a single charge. Really unbelieveable. The key with lithium’s is not letting them get down to zero apparently. Hopefully the battery lasts a few months. No grinding gears or damage from the beach session!!!!!! I’m sold!
