The set up was very easy and straight forward and it worked with my existing modem which was a plus. The app made it very easy to change and configure the WIFI passwords and names. Not to mention that its CRAZY fast. For the price point this is a no brainer.

I was pretty skeptical about purchasing a router to install myself as I have had issues with self-installation in the past. NETGEAR has such an easy setup process with the Nighthawk app, I was done within 10 minutes. I also love the ability to log into the app and review internet speeds, devices connected, parental controls and even a guest wifi option! I am very pleased with this purchase.

Follow the directions! It is amazing! My internet speed was upgraded and I wanted a better wifi in a remote part of the house. This works! Hardwired I get 300 mbps and wifi about 160 mbps, in the remote area!

My NTGR R7000 finally stopped working after 9 years. Tested the RAX50 and RAX30 with my home equipment (laptop, tablets, phones, roku) that supports wifi AC and N. I don't have any equipment that supports AX. I found both work well, providing over 200Mbps on 5GHz band. Very good range in my 2K foot house. The RAX30, takes up less room on my desk so kept the RAX30. Bought NTGR b-grade for $109 which is good price. I'm happy with this purchase. Hope it lasts 5 years.

We have owned Netgear Routers for years. This one got zapped by lightening and we even had a surge protector and that didn't save it.

There is nothing that we don't like. This Router does works like a charm...goes through 2 walls.

Let's get real: 90% of people don't need a fast router because their internet service does not provide them with internet speeds that can take advantage of those theoretical maximum speeds on a router. However, the manufacturer claims that it should be able to handle up to 20 devices (my household has 11), and it does so while maintaining a stable connection.

Easy to set up. The one I had previously was too small, even for my small home. (Wouldn't reach ny bedroom & the constact dropping of the internet was so annoying.) This also has built-in security which is reassuring.
