Great product so far! Used it for travel and while I’m moving so i wouldn’t haul the dock. Size is perfect for travel. So far I’ve used it at a hotel, a friend’s house and mine so it’s compatible with various TVs. Hasn’t disappointed. Picture and sound are both clear. No skipping or lagging. Charges just fine.

UPDATE: I contacted the seller about my adapter no longer working, and they offered me a free replacement or a full refund. I chose the replacement and they sent it out immediately and it works great. Very pleased with the seller.

This adapter didn’t even last us 6 months, and we only used it a couple times. It no longer connects our switch to the tv.

I use this to play the switch on a computer monitor and it works no problem. I don't really notice any issues with video or sound quality (but my monitor doesn't have sound so I use a bluetooth speaker). It's very lightweight for portability.

I bought this almost a year ago as a portable dock for my Switch when I'm traveling. It's much smaller and easier to pack than a Switch dock.

When I first tried using it, I didn't realize that it also needs a Switch power cable plugged in simultaneously with the HDMI to work properly, and was worried that it was broken. But once I realized that it needed the power cable, it worked perfectly.

Then I randomly tried using it in other ways and was very surprised by what it can do. I've used it to mirror the screen of my Android phone (which has a USB-C port) to various TVs using an HDMI cable. It also surprisingly lets me use my USB-A dongle for a gaming headset with that same smartphone. I'm writing this review as I just discovered that I can plug it into the USB-C port of my Lenovo laptop and extend my screen (and audio!) to a nearby TV. I'm currently using this adapter to play Hulu running on my laptop on a nearby TV while playing games on the same laptop.

I travel a lot and this little adapter has routinely been one of the most useful things in my bag alongside an HDMI cable and a Switch power brick. I can play my Switch or smartphone or laptop on any TV, or plug USB-A devices into my phone or laptop via a USB-C port. It feels well-built and durable and has been a fantastic investment. I don't normally write enthusiastic reviews like this but I've been pleasantly surprised and I wanted to share the extra little things I've found it can be used for. Hopefully someone else finds it as helpful as I have.

Pro's: works great

Con's: You must keep your screen on or open to use it. So if your using it to display a movie on a t.v. and your screen falls asleep. It stops working. It gets really frustrating as a driver to have this happen after a long day. Works great otherwise.

It keeps slipping out the switch port but overall for the price it’s really good and I can charge he switch at the same time as using the controller it slips out there port once in a while but it’s both that big of a problem for me

So we went to visit my mom over the summer with the kids. I let them take the switch so the can use it on the plane since it was a 12 hour flight. But I didn't want to run the risk of the cradle breaking in transit. I order this amazing little gadget that fit right in the carrier case. We got to my mom's house and we where able to plug I in right in to the TV and use the switch right away. Great product ,easy to use and light weight. I was even able to hook up my phone and watch the movies I had safe on it. Plan to get one for the kids rooms

It was working great for about half a year until suddenly it stops working. It’s not the hdmi nor the switch charger because they work with the original dock and individually. The item itself just stopped working altogether, doesn’t even act like it’s charging anymore. Disappointed because it worked great for a while.
