- Really comfortable to hold
- Good textured feel on the back, I can't imagine dropping this thing by accident unless I consciously tried to
- Weight is light but not cheap-feeling, compared to my PS4 controller which is light as well, but doesn't feel as premium
- The stellar shift is by far the most beautiful design imo -- totally worth the 1 week wait without prime.
- Pairs flawlessly with PC with no further action required on your part, just turn on pairing mode by holding down the pairing button on the front of the controller for 3 secs and Windows should just detect it and prompt you to pair.
- Also pairs automatically to Steam which is my original use case for this device.
- Buttons feel sturdy and tactile. While PS4 controller wasn't mushy by any means, this thing blows it out of the water.
Cons:
- Price, it's a bit expensive but if you're playing a lot of controller heavy games then this is probably the best one on the market imo, especially if you're a Steam gamer.
- D pad i feel is in a weird place compared to what I'm used to on the Steam Deck and PS4 controller, but that may be just because I've never used an XBOX controller before. This will probably subside as I get used to the layout and is nitpicking at worst.
Overall a pretty good buy. Gonna keep testing it out but right now I am playing Honkai Star Rail and it works flawlessly.
