    I ordered two of these fans. I wanted a simple fan that would blend with my white ceilings. These fans are great. I did pay extra to get a longer warranty however, I doubt I will need it. These fans are super quiet and look amazing in the bedrooms. These are the 3rd and 4th fans of this style (two outdoor and now two indoor) I have bought--all renewed. I am very happy with my purchase.

    Looks nice, showed up in "like new" condition, and well packed.

    But when I went to test it, the lights worked, but the fan didn't. Whatever refurb testing Hunter/Corecentric does is obviously inadequate. Not worth troubleshooting; went and bought a different new fan and it worked great. Will return this one.

    Not too hard to assemble. Someone else suggested assembling this on the ground and installing it (minus light cover). If you have a good magnetic screwdriver that can hold screws vertically or, better yet, an electric screwdriver, doing it on the ceiling isn't bad. If you are doing this with a regular screwdriver, I'd do it on the floor first. The downside of assembling on the floor is once the fan blades are on you will have reduced clearance to connect wiring at fan box. Having a helper to potentially hold the fan would probably help. Pick your poison.

    I had an electrician install so could not comment on ease of installation. The light kit is large and discreet. Provides lots of light in room.

    Beautiful fan, strong output. I like that it has a pull chain, because I can leave the light on, and use the light switch to light up the room instead of pulling the chain.
