Well, this is great food and it’s very easy. Cleaning the feeder is key. I use little pitcher that seals tightly. I go out with a little tub with soapy water EVERY 2 DAYS ( not a week), dump the spent nectar, clean in the soapy water and rinse with hose. Fill.
I always have a hummer on my feeder.
