These cups are amazing!!! The colors are beautiful and the size is perfect. If you are tired of spilling your hot coffee this is a must have. You are able to lock and unlock easily on the top of lid and your hot beverage stays hot for hours! Highly recommend!!!

I love Contigo drinking mugs because you put it in the fridge and it stays cold (OR hot) from 9 to 5 and then some. I love it because it's impossible to spill, has a button on back to press and it opens up so you can drink. You can even lock it so it will not spill. I have a collection of them. I love my water cold. CONTIGO makes it easy for me to drink, not drink ... no spill & lock it too!

I use these when I'm sick, lying in bed just reading and watching tv. They try to sit on my headboard. The cat opposes this. They have been knocked flat down, onto the bed, onto me, onto the floor... if the cat can knock it there it's been knocked there. She managed to dent one once, with much effort, but they have never popped open and they have never spilled.

They keep tea hot for hours. I tend to run out of tea before it gets cold, even if I'm nursing a cup for two or three hours. They are warm, never uncomfortably hot to hold.

These are a sick day must have. There is a great tea infuser attachment that is perfect for this as well.

I can not believe this cup can hold hot for so long, now not the full 6 hours, but I will explain as I did testing.

When I brewed the coffee and added it to the cup, after 15 minutes still steaming hot, that is good, we all know coffee gets cold right away.
After 30 minutes, yep still pipping hot, I am impressed as most cups start to cool the coffee down but a bit.
After 45 minutes, OMG still pipping hot, it does not feel like it cooled down at all.
After 1 hour, still very, very hot but not pipping, but still very nice to drink.
Then after the hour I will give testing faster so you are not bored.
1 hour in, I can not believe it, the coffee is still hot, not really pipping hot but hot that you can not take a gulp full and swallow it.
After the hour the coffee starts to cool down, but not fast, I believe it took about two and a half hours for my coffee to get to the point where I can take a large drink and swallow it without burning my throat, but it was still really nicely hot, if that makes sense.
As most do, I forget the little bit that is left sometimes and have to dump it, but after 8 hours I took a sip and it was, well, not super warm but not cool either, it was warm enough to drink and it tasted great. If I had to describe it the warmth it would be the same as if you made a cup of coffee in a cup and got to the last amount at the bottom, not cold or cool but sot super warm, just okay.
Now I owned a Bubba cup and it stated that it kept the coffee hot for 6 hours, but it did not, it got cooled after about an hour, not cold or warm but it was not pipping hot. I am not one to drink coffee fast, if you are like me and like to have it sit while doing your job or at home cleaning, this is for you. My coffee was pipping hot after an hour in this cup, and still hot to drink for another hour and then cooled a bit over time.
I have to say I am very impressed with this as I did not think the hot would stay hot for as long as it did. The lid twists off and you have to push a button each time you take a drink, I did not know that at first, but I think that button action rather than the flip top is what makes it stay hot longer. You can even lock and unlock the button to open the valve, this would be great if your trying to carry a bunch of stuff and your coffee too, so you don't accidently push the button open and it spills on you. I picked the lowest price set, so each cup came to just a bit over $18.00 Well worth the price I paid as I was VERY skeptical. I bought the 16 ounce as well, I don't know if my review would stand for the larger size as I can not test that.

I have purchased several of these contigo travel mugs for myself and as gifts. They are durable, easy to clean and completely leak proof for years. Though they can dent and or chip when they are dropped on hard surfaces (such as falling out of an SUV seat onto the pavement) they actually withstand the abuse pretty well, and continue to work well and still look pretty good. The paint does also eventually chip if you constantly use the dishwasher, but I have put all of mine through the wash cycle several times when I don’t feel like hand washing them, and they are perfectly serviceable. I have used my travel mug for hot and cold drinks, and as a water bottle. I find they are really easy to drink from with one hand. It has a nice lock feature which is also easy to use. If you flip the switch on the top of the mug to lock, it is not possible to press the button to allow liquid to flow from the mug. Since I have been purchasing these over several years, I can attest to their durability with daily use. For this reason, I say without hesitation that it is an excellent value for the money! I hope the company continues to make this style! It’s nice to be able to change it up with the different colors, and so easy to give these for gifts as they are high quality and useful even for those of us who do not drink coffee.

Got this cup because I’m tired of mine leaking. I got these cups because I wanted something with good ratings. The blue looks like it has specks in the picture but it’s a pearl coating and I absolutely LOVE it. Will update on how long it stays hot later.
UPDATE: the drinks stay hot or cold for hours, I havent had one issue of leaking and I love that it’s easy to clean!

I had two of these in silver for years about 6 years. I accidentally broke a lid on one so I went looking for this particular brand because I swear by them. They lock to prevent spills and they keep my coffee hot for hours. You won’t be disappointed! The fact that they come in new colors is awesome but know the colored cups cannot go in the dishwasher but the lids can. I think it’s because the heat cycle will damage the color coating. Best travel mugs I’ve ever had. In fact while writing this review I’m on a walk with one of them right now.
