I appreciate the quality construction of these embroidery hoops. The smooth, polished finish prevents snagging or catching on delicate fabrics, ensuring a seamless stitching experience. The brass adjustment screw allows for easy tightening and loosening of the hoop, allowing me to achieve the perfect tension for my embroidery work. I thought I was buying wooden embroidery hoops as usual.....so when I saw these were plastic, I was disappointed at first.
But, when I used one of these hoops for the first time, I was impressed! I really like that each hoop have a channel or a corresponding ridge that fit together snugly before tightening the screw on the outer hoop (as many other hoops only have).
I like to reduce my use of plastics, but I'll be using this embroidery hoop set " forever".
I would definitely suggest this set of embroidery hoops to other stitchers!

These are a good value for the set, but they are kind of cheap. Pieces of the hoops, which are plastic, needed sanding off or cutting off because they scratch the fabric and my hand. They are also a bit awkward to use. I wouldn't recommend them.

So I just got into embroidery by hand over Christmas, and these have been a lifesaver. I use the smallest hoop the most because apparently I love making tiny projects. But anyone who loves to do any kind of needle work should have this set of hoops. It's a good staple for anyone either just starting or who has been doing it for a while.

Theses hoops are sturdy and easy to use. The added bonus of needles is wonderful. Who doesn't always need a needle? And the price is a bargain!
